Tools for Anger & Other Intense Emotions

Tools for Anger & Other Intense Emotions
MP4 | Video: h264, 1280x720 | Audio: AAC, 44.1 KHz, 2 Ch
Genre: eLearning | Language: English + srt | Duration: 38 lectures (5h 19m) | Size: 7 GB

What you'll learn
Tools and techniques for anger and frustration that work!
An effective tool system called the "Two-Step Protocol" for intense emotional reactions
How to overcome intense frustration and upset feeling & reactions
How to change your thoughts to change how you feel
How to calm the body to deep relaxation
How to attain clarity in the mind after an angry reaction
Requirements
A sincere desire to do something different than your autopilot reactions!
Willingness to practice 7 minutes a day!
Description
The purpose of this course is to provide a highly effective & efficient toolset to help with super strong emotions - that is extreme levels of "activation". This course provides clear and entertaining videos with very practical techniques you can use instantly to reduce the intensity of your feelings.
This workshop gives you workable approaches and techniques for dealing with super strong emotions. In this course, we will categorize emotions into three categories on a 10-point scale through the Three Levels of Emotional Intensity. You will learn about what tools work for each level. I have searched thru the holistic world and beyond and found techniques that often work for most people most of the time.
Perhaps you have tried numerous techniques to conquer these emotions, ranging from journaling to therapy to yoga to medication, and perhaps all that has not worked. There are many reasons possible. However, it's possible that you are working with the wrong tools. Have no fear, this course is here!!!! This course will equip you with clinically-validated and field tested tools and techniques.
When to use this tool? When to use that tool? This course's mission is to provide a "hammer for a nail, and a screwdriver for a screw". A screwdriver takes a long time to hammer in a nail. So mindfulness (which we love and teach in this course) as a tool for intense anger or panic really doesn't do much. For example, mindfulness is great for the second level of intensity. We will give you guidance about when and how to use the 13 tools taught in this course.
Here at the Integrative Counseling Center in Scottsdale Arizona, our mission is to provide tools, techniques, therapies, trainings and workshops with new standard of care - an integrative model - which incorporates physiology, cognition, and spirituality in the assessment and treatment process. This Udemy course is a do-it-yourself version of some of the tools and protocols we teach in our clinic. It is not a replacement for therapy and counseling services rather adjunctive and supplementary.
This course provides a very effective protocol, and yet this course is not for everyone. Sometimes anger and panic requires a much more involved process. If you find this course is not enough for your situation, then reach out today to a mental health professional in your location. Thanks for joining us! Many Blessings!
-Daniel Levi LCPC Clinical Director of the Integrative Counseling Center (your course Inventor & Instructor!)
Who this course is for
Folks struggling with anger management issues
Folks who have strong reactions when triggered
Folks who want tools that work for most people most of the time!

What is the best way to learn a new skill (or improve a current one)?

b) Think about it a lot
c) Jump in and do it.
If you guessed "Jump in and do it", you'd be correct!
While spending time understanding theory is important for learning a skill; getting your hands dirty, practicing, and immersing yourself in the thing you're learning will yield much better results.
Want to learn a new language? Speak it.
Want to learn how to play a game? Play it.
Want to learn a sport? Practice it.
Want to learn to be funny? Tell jokes. (I can tell you from experience that, by using this method, my success rate has improved my humour! Now I only bomb a joke 8 times out of 10...)
Want to learn how to code? Start building things. A lot of things.
Here's the catch...
If you have no direction, no roadmap, no end-goal in mind, and nobody to hold you accountable, the best case scenario is you'll incrementally improve your ability, and worst case scenario is you'll fail.
Which is why I created this course, CSS in 30 Days!
Each day for the next 30 days, you and I will learn CSS by building a new project in plain, vanilla CSS without the use of templates, frameworks or plugins.

An Introduction to Landscape Architecture and Design

What you'll learn
Students will learn how to prepare a conceptual landscape plan suitable for themselves or presentation
You will learn how to do a simple site survey of a property and plot it on paper
How to use different design approaches to give more interest and continuity to your designs
You will learn how the Planes of Enclosure can make your designs more interesting and dynamic
You will be shown how to color your plan for presentation and display
You will have access to bid sheets and examples of contracts for you to use in business and estimating
The student should have basic math skills

Description
This is a beginner/intermediate level course in landscape Architecture and Design.
Landscape design is more than selecting plants for a project, it is the integration of all the elements and spaces that affect our outdoor living environment. In this course you will be introduced to the objectives and principles that are essential to developing a strong design solution for either yourself or for a paying client, all the while you'll be introduced to new garden and design ideas to help grow your design company. With lessons covering how to interview the client, design contracts, form composition and selecting a design approach this course is a comprehensive and in-depth journey into the world of truly creative landscape design.
Because I have students taking this course from all over the world with a wide range of climates and plant palettes this is NOT a course on planting design. The basic concepts of how plants can be used within the landscape are discussed, but individual plant species and their use or placement will not be addressed.
The practical skills of drafting to scale, and site surveys will be explained. Finally, how to take these skills, draw your garden design and create a conceptual garden plan for yourself, family or client will be covered in detail.
This is a course on garden design - not gardening. It is also NOT a course using computer aided design (CAD). The instruction will be in using pen, ink and paper - what I believe is the starting point for all design even if you choose to use a computer program later on. CAD is simply a tool, but if you do not know the basic principles and objectives of design, CAD won't help you. You'll simply do poor designs faster!
The conceptual plan is the starting point for any design project, opening discussion and refining the plan before construction drawings are prepared and it is this approach to design that I will be explaining, demonstrating and clarifying for the student.
What you will get out of this course:
74 lectures walking you through the entire process of creating a conceptual garden plan including garden design basics
Approximately 7 hours of instruction
Lifetime access to the instructor for advice, plan critique, contract review and encouragement
Lifetime access to the course and resources
30-day, money back guarantee
Certificate of Completion when you've finished the Course
Pure and practical advice
Personal guidance and mentoring from someone (me!) who has been designing and creating gardens for over 35 years

Who this course is for:
This course is for gardeners, landscape contractors, designers and students interested in improving their design capabilities. This course has been developed for those interested in learning landscape design including site surveys and basic differential elevation surveys.

Well have you always wanted to make your own game, but didn't know how?
This course will teach you how to build a very polished and professional looking game, in a short time. You will learn many tricks and techniques that can then be applied to making your own games. The possibilities are endless once you've gained these programming skills and you'll be experienced enough to start the process of turning your own ideas into actual working games.
The game you will learn to build here is very slick and professional and is a great platform from which to grow your skills. This could be the start of your game development career, or just a fun hobby, but either way I look forward to assisting you in your journey.
Within the course you will learn:
Finite State Machines (The absolute best way to structure your code)
Tile Based Collisions (Extremely fast collision method)
Cool looking psuedo particles (That interact with the environment)
Lighting Systems (That service multiple objects)
Scripted enemies and sequences (including enemy spawning)
Room Fade Transitions, highscore saving, custom tooltips and much more!
All the graphics and code is supplied, all you need to do is start learning and you could be making and releasing your own games sooner then you think. Every lecture is also presented in 1080p/60fps for maximum clarity while learning.
The course is compatible with the full or trial version of Gamemaker Studio 2, but the trial version is limited to 30 days use only.
The course is taught by Peter Morgan. A former Mathematics and Computer High School Teacher who has studied the game making process, and products, for many years. I have previously used Gamemaker to release my first mobile game and currently work on assisting others to do the same.
Note: All code is yours to use as you like. Some graphic assets are public domain (tile sets, enemies) but some are copyright to Peter Morgan 2021 (player character, background, gui elements, game name and title page) and are not authorized for posting on Steam.

Who this course is for:
Beginner/Intermediate who is interested in learning an efficient method of coding platform games using tile collisions
Someone who is interested in publishing games on Windows or mobile platforms
Someone curious how a video game is made
Someone who has dabbled in gamemaking, but would like to extend their skill set.
