Practice English: Comprehension and Pronunciation

Improve your understanding of spoken English and practice pronunciation for effective conversation.

Notice: In Section 1: Instructors don't use English to introduce. But remaining lectures is English

What you'll learn:

Understand the pronunciation of people of different nationalities, ages and gender.
Practice understanding simple to complex spoken texts.
Expand your vocabulary.
Practice pronunciation also considering the regional differences in spoken English.

Requirements:
Students taking this course need to have basic knowledge of English, that is, they need to be able to understand simple sentences.

Description:
Important: This course receives updates every Monday of the month, with more articles!

Have you been studying English for some time, but find it difficult to speak?

Do you have difficulty talking to someone in English?

When you meet an American, do you find it difficult to talk?

Is it difficult to even ask basic questions?

What if it's an Indian speaking English? an Australian? a Brit? or someone with a strong accent? Do you crash?

You often get stuck because you have difficulty understanding what they are saying!

And this is normal, as each person speaks slightly differently and not always with good pronunciation.

Do you know the fastest way to develop fluency in speaking English? Develop understanding!

Yes, being able to understand someone speaking helps you speak correctly because you simply don't get stuck when speaking.

And this is the objective of this course! Strengthen your understanding to speak naturally.

Learning to understand spoken English has a multitude of benefits that people simply don't realize. From helping improve your English speaking, helping improve your English pronunciation and opening you up to other ideas, cultures and worlds.

Although it may not seem like the most fascinating of English skills to develop, it is the secret weapon of every fluent non-native English speaker.

Listening is an important skill that allows us to receive, understand and evaluate the information communicated to us. And one of the direct results of this is being able to act correctly based on the information presented to us.

This becomes even more evident when traveling to an English-speaking country or when attending a work meeting in that language. In these cases, the importance of listening skills is fundamental. Imagine you missed a flight, train or bus because you heard a wrong announcement. Huge financial losses can happen to your business or the firm you work for when you incorrectly implement a misinterpreted instruction from a meeting held in English. Therefore, listening correctly is an extremely important skill that cannot be neglected in any way.

Because of this, you need to be able to listen efficiently, to be able to talk and interact more deeply with English speakers, whether they are native speakers of the language or not.

As English has the largest number of speakers in the world, naturally there are many different dialects and accents to understand and this further intensifies the importance of listening skills.

As examples, we can mention the American, British, Australian and Canadian accents. Not to mention the almost infinite accents of people who speak English from countries where this language is not the official language, such as Indian, Filipino, Chinese accents, etc.

If you want to be a true global English speaker, it's important to expose yourself to these differences in dialects and accents that, even for native speakers, can be difficult to understand.

These accents and dialects need to be heard repeatedly and continually if we are to communicate appropriately, meaningfully, and naturally. Because the more time you invest practicing; the more your listening skills will be improved

In short, if you can't understand what someone is saying, it will be virtually impossible to have a successful conversation.

And this course was created exactly for that. Through various texts with subjects ranging from trivial to current and important themes for your personal and professional development.

You will hear all these texts with different accents from all over the world. Not only from English-speaking countries, but also from speakers from other countries around the world.

With this, you will acquire the confidence necessary to travel and/or participate in professional meetings in English with confidence.

Who this course is for:
This course is aimed at anyone who wants to improve their understanding and pronunciation of spoken English.
It was also designed for those who need to speak with or listen to people who speak English with different accents such as American, British, Indian, etc.
For those who are already fluent, the course offers the opportunity to test their understanding by listening to voices with different accents.
The course also seeks, using voices with different accents, to help the student be able to understand difficult pronunciations, a subject that is not covered in most English courses.
