    - Bereich Englisch: Englische Releases gehören immer in diesen Bereich.
    - Bereich Talk: Der Bereich, in dem über die Releases diskutiert werden kann, darf, soll und erwünscht ist.


    Angebot/Beitrag erstellen

    - Ein Beitrag darf erst dann erstellt werden, wenn der Upload bei mindestens einem OCH komplett ist. Platzhalter sind untersagt.
    - Bei einem Scenerelease hat der Threadtitel ausschließlich aus dem originalen, unveränderten Releasenamen zu bestehen. Es dürfen keine Veränderungen wie z.B. Sterne, kleine Buchstaben o.ä. vorgenommen werden. Ausnahme Serienbörse:

    Releases

Welcome to the art of storytelling!

My name is Fredrik Hiller, and I have been a writer, director and actor for almost three decades. My ambition is to provide you with all the principles and techniques you need to create compelling stories. This class is primarily geared towards cinematic storytelling, but the principles and techniques presented here can just as easily be applied to writing plays or literature. My hope is that you, after completing this series, will see that creating compelling stories is not achieved by luck or magic - but, instead, by tangible and specific principles and methods, all of which you will learn in this class. The board game Othello boasts the slogan "one minute to learn, a lifetime to master". I would never propose that the principles of storytelling only take a minute to learn - but you will find that the principles of storytelling are simple, clear and concise. Learning to employ them masterfully, however - that does take a lifetime.

I have divided the entire course into three parts: 1) the aspects common to all characters, 2) the aspects specific to each character, and 3) the modus operandi of creating a compelling story from scratch. In this first part of the series, we take a helicopter view on the art of storytelling - we are looking at the playing field, and its contestants, from above.

This course is intended to help beginner to intermediate level game developers become more comfortable using Unity's NavMesh system.
Point & Click Player Movement that utilizes Unity's NavMesh Agent with automated animations based on velocity.
We'll write a simple Finite State Machine using C# that keeps track of enemy behaviors such as Patrol, Idle, Chase, Attack and Standby.
We'll write a simple geomorphic-style procedural generator and then at runtime, once a new level has been created, we'll bake Unity's NavMesh Surface, allowing agents to take advantage of A* Pathfinding in a newly generated environment.
Learn how to properly configure NavMesh Agents to prevent them from getting stuck or walking through solid objects.
Learn how to use NavMesh Obstacles, Modifiers, Areas, Agent Types and more!
Write code to instruct enemies to flock around a player while waiting for their turn to attack (rather than having all enemies attacking mindlessly at once)
Randomly place enemy Spawn Nests throughout your generated levels with simple rules, such as the distance from player required to activate the spawner, maximum number of enemies to spawn, type of enemies to spawn, hits required to destroy a nest and the reward for eliminating one.
We'll use ScriptableObjects to help organize the game's resources for optimizing memory usage.
We'll write a Singleton script that will stay in memory at all times, allowing us to keep track of health, inventory, upgrades and so on while the game advances levels and changes scenes.
We'll follow all of that up by creating Health & Combat systems and making the game fully playable by the end of the course.
