Description
Are you past the absolute beginner stage of Blender and want to challenge yourself a bit? Do you want a course designed to move you swiftly into modelling buses and trucks in a professional and smart way? Are you ready to impress people with your new skills and abilities? Join me, and I will bestow upon you knowledge of good practices of modelling techniques and will grant you newfound expertise!

We look at both the bus and the truck separately, treating both vehicles as separate tutorials that utilise many of the same practices, allowing you to seal your understanding of them. We'll create the various different assets including the wheels, seats, and wipers ready for both vehicles. We'll then move onto creating the actual vehicles. I'll show you highly productive ways of creating them so that you're not left fiddling with more vertices than you need to be; the workflow we adopt keeps raw topology to a minimum!

When you have finished the course, you will have two complete models that you can develop further; you can either rig and animate them, or simply place them into still scenes of your choice! You will also have the information necessary to create vehicles and assets of your own.

Did you know that it's possible to create detailed models like shown in the promotional video within a day? You're learning so it may take a little while longer, but once you're done you should be able to significantly reduce your complex modelling times!

I encourage you to have a look at the preview lectures to get a feel for the pace and style of the course. Feeling confident? Are you ready to begin turning that boring cube into a marvelous vehicle? Enroll today, and let's begin building...

Who this course is for
Intermediate and above Blender users who wish to develop their hard-surface modelling skills.

Description
"Happiness is the journey not the destination." -SouzaThis popular quote seen on signs around the world is the front part of a paragraph that goes on to talk about life being a cluster of obstacles that make the journey towards what we want filled with unfinished business, debt, penance of time, etc. It finishes off by reminding us to take notice of and treasure each moment of life because time isn't guaranteed to anyone.ENROLL to Have a Happy Journey towards your Happy Destination. This course will help you figure it all out and get you started, today! When we only look at the sign "Happiness is the journey not the destination." saying it can appear trite but for a snicker. We might read this and think, "Oh Yea, I must remember to make my journey happy." This partial saying implies that the destination is not a place of happiness. So WHY would we want to go there? And HOW do I make myself happy on life's journey?Could it be that the stress, the worry, the addiction, the conflicts, the poor health and many of the negative conditions we face are the result of following this sign?Think about it.We wake up one day or realize in a moment to imagine what is to come (our destination) and it causes us great stress, anxiety and worry. The journey we are on is leading us away from happiness. Many of us take this sign to heart and party like tomorrow will never come. Or we escape into pain avoidance activities that turn into addictions like overeating, gambling, pornography, risk taking, alcohol & drugs. We want today, right now, to be happy and these are thing we do to achieve what the sign tells us to do. The journey is filled with stimulations of all sorts numbing us from whatever pains are real or imagined. But is this what Souza was telling us? No, not at all because the message is edited to a cliche. And even if we read the entire paragraph there is more to the story. Souza is reminding us that we need to adjust our mindset to note that of course our destination is of happiness and our journey need not be devoid of happiness. That while challenges will keep the journey from being a straight line we can stop and smell the roses and bring happiness into the journey too. Ok so we still need to know HOW to go to our Happy Destination and have as much happiness along the way, right? That's what the course is all about.Once you complete this course you will be able to, for yourself and coach other to do this for themselves, the means to be happy on the journey while moving towards a happy destination. In short I call this have an Optimal Happy Life. Why Optimal? Because this word best describes the reality of the human voyage we each embark upon. Not Perfect! Rather Optimal because we will discover ways to operate in an excellent means. We will respond, prepare for and proactively approach what we can control and deal with what we cannot control. So Perfect isn't the right word because too much of life is beyond our control.Once completed you will have an understanding of your life that was never presented to you before. We are conditioned to believe that adulthood is complex and it's a game that only the gifted can master. Then we hit an obstacle. Our journey now seems overwhelming which leads to reactive behaviors that makes the journey seemly unpleasant, unfinished, debt-filled, in thought that leads to negative feelings like stress, anxiety, panic, worry and depression. Souza's sign is seen and then used incorrectly. You'll learn to see life in an easy to build formula that can be repeated over and over again so your life's journey is more happy while you move towards that happy place you wish to be Today, Tomorrow and Forever. We will break down your life in very basic and easy to understand ways.We will build up your understanding of an Optimal life via a course called the Human Voyage. We will explain how to experience happiness along the journey while staying focused on getting to your destination as quickly as possible. We will explain how the chemicals in your brain create the feeling of happiness and what safe and healthy ways to activate these natural chemicals so you can keep your journey happy. This is done in a course called, The Neuroscience, Chemistry and Art of being Happy ForeverWe will give you three courses that represent the recipe, ingredients, formula to create and achieve success, fulfillment and happiness in life. You will receive several workbooks to help you and your clients ( if you choose to use this certification as a Optimal Happy Life Coach certified by Star Family Coaching ) to learn about your life balance, your life values, your goals and more. This is a mega course made of 5 successful courses. 4 of them individually have thousands of students. Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment - Learn How to Crate Unreal Engine 5 Environments from Scratch Beginner to Professional Game Design Workflow

Course Description

Have you ever wanted to build an entire game world?

Join 'Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment' because there's nothing like it! Be enthralled in a full guide to building a game environment in Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) from creating a landscape, to making water flow through your mountains, and the best way to place environmental details.

If you have ever wanted to get into Unreal Engine 5 or are making the switch over from Unreal Engine 4, then this course is absolutely for you.

Whether you are a video game player who wants to take gaming into their control and build what has been hiding in the depths of your imagination, or a game designer looking to find out all that UE5 has to offer in a dedicated and complete overview, this course is ideal for you.

We have designed the course from the ground up to make sure that no matter your skill level, you will easily be able to follow along and more importantly learn most of the skills to create your own 3D game environment.

You will become a master of using Unreal Engine 5!

Build an intricate landscape with an awe-striking mountain range, and a winding river which leads down to a fisherman's hat full of life.

Our 'Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment' top 5

· Building a 3D environment by making full use of the Quixel library through learning how to deform a mesh and adjust material properties

· Sculpting out terrains and generating mountains using height map textures

· Creating a reusable water system with waterfalls and setting up atmospheric sunset lighting

· Creating fire simulations for the fireplace

· Breathing life into the work by adding birds and fireflies to the environment

With 'Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment', you will learn how to do that in no time!

Build an intricate riverside environment with a fisherman's hut and a wooden walkway, ready for a new 3D modelling adventure.

This course will give you access to just over 19 hours of 3D art in 93 comprehensive lessons.

This course will see you learn all the techniques pros use and how they use them. Learning how to achieve realism through ageing your 3D game environments will be a central part of this course's learning objectives!

Walk around your fisherman's hut riverside environment with the UE5 default character for the full immersive experience filled with wonder and the smallest, charming details hidden behind every nook and cranny.

Quixel

'Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment' will teach you how to design your very own building structure - a fisherman's hut - in the UE5 environment. You will learn how to work with Quixel assets to their fullest by customising them to your liking.

We will go over all categories within the Quixel library to build our 3D environment: assets, textures, decals and foliage. Join us to find out how to make use full use of Quixel material instance parameters to adjust textures and make them fit the colour pallet of your world.

Deform any mesh to your liking using a built-in modeling mode within UE5 itself. We will make use of a variety of different techniques to bend, warp and even cut into the mesh to get full control over the scanned assets from the Quixel library to make sure that the only limit to building our world will be our imagination.

Water System

You will build our very own water system from scratch to enhance the visuals of your 'Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment' scene. This will include everything that water VFX involves no matter the type you would want to create. By joining this course, you will essentially be able to reuse this water for any future projects.

We create a fully dynamic water body system that will allow us to create a flowing river with waterfalls, a still body lake or even something in between. Master vertex painting to blend inflows of water and develop realistic water visuals for your 'Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment' scene. We will also create additional water visual effects to enrich the flow of our liquid. The water system will involve making use out of a variety of material techniques including a particle set up to manipulate animation and give a certain organic feel to our waterfalls.

Creating Living Environments

Breathe life into your own virtual world by creating a flock of birds flying over the horizon, and fireflies playfully buzzing around over water. We will start off by manually sculpting out the shapes of our birds using UE5's built in sculpting mode. This will allow us to add randomised motion to the birds, using a material set up for the bird's wing flapping effect. Our goal will be to create bird silhouettes flying over the horizon, giving each individual feathered friend a unique flying animation within the flock of birds.

We will continue by creating a firefly particle effect, letting them playfully fly over the top of our water, using the animation sequence within our scene.

Particles

'Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment' goes in depth on setting up particles within Unreal Engine 5 (UE5). Learn to use the Niagara particle system to its fullest. We will start off and make use of Niagara to create water flow effects, fireflies, and a fluid simulation to create campfire visuals.

Terrain Building

Throught the course, we will cover multiple techniques for building up a terrain within Unreal Engine 5 (UE5). We will learn how to manually sculpt out a terrain using a built in sculpting tool. This will help us generate a terrain from a height texture map by making use out of a displacement tool to generate a mountain.

The lessons will take you through the versitility of landscape texturing methods within UE5 as well. You will learn how to (a) create an automatic landscape texturing material to generate textures on your level, (b) how to add custom painted texturing detail by creating your own landscape material from scratch, and (c) how to add a variation of textures based on height map detail for the mountains.

Atmosphere Building & Camera Composition

'Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment' will finish by setting up a sunset for the environment using the dynamic volumetric cloud system. During this stage, we will learn how to adjust our atmosphere and the sun light color absorption to exaggerate the sunset lighting within the 3D environment. We will learn how to effectively position our sun and increase its scale to create a nicely stylized evening scene.

To top it off, we will set up a nice camera composition for the scene and render out a video of the finished result to show off the work we've done.

Course Resources & Freebies

The 'Unreal Engine 5 Beginners Guide to Building an Environment' resource pack includes 8 unique textures maps to help you set up your own water system and an example texture map of a mountain height map texture.

Join this course and come be part of a game design journey of over 19 hours of learning that will see you go away with a game-ready fantasy game environment full of life and animation.

Check out the free introduction and I am sure you won't be able to put this course down!

Let's create something whimsical and full of life this September!

To get you pumped, imagine how well this sunset fantasy scene fits in with your other 3D Tudor projects.

Be creative! Feature your fisherman's hut riverside environment nearby a medieval castle keep with 'Creating a Modular Kitbash in Blender'. Also, think about creating an environment behind or above your scene, be it a medieval farm in the far distance using 'Blender 3 The Ultimate Medieval Scene Course', a church or an execution gallows staging area with 'Blender to Unreal Engine 5 | 3D Props | Medieval Gallows'. Use the full power of Blender 3 and Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) to your advantage.

You can include your fisherman's hut environment as part of our 'Creating a Modular Kitbash in Blender' course, nearby to your medieval in or tavern by the harbour area based on 'Blender 2.8 Complete Beginners Guide to 3D Modelling a Scene', or next to your medieval well or windmill using 'Blender 2.8 Creating your First 3D Game Model' and 'Blender to Unreal Engine 5' respectively.

Until next time, happy modelling everyone!

At birth, we're each gifted with a unique constitution that's derived from the elements of our natural world: Fire, Water, Air and Earth. We express the qualities of our innate elements through our (ahem, sparkling) personality: Have a sharp tongue and a quick wit? A go-with-the-flow attitude? A compulsive need to go barefoot (much to the dismay of your office mates)? An introspective, leave-me-be vibe?
Ashley Turner introduces our handpicked programs and practices honoring all four of the elements. Together with practice tips and practical suggestions, join her in a daily journey that guides you into a balanced state of grace, harmony and peace.

Description
What most people think about Consulting:*You need to have a Harvard MBA, lots of degrees and credentials, get hired by a large Consulting firm that operates out of a Skyscraper in New York City, and advise Fortune 500 Companies. What's actually true about Consulting: ANYONE can be a Consultant, start their own Consulting Business, and get paid large sums of money for their advice. It doesn't matter if you have a business degree...It doesn't matter if you know anything about starting your own business...It doesn't matter if you have any experience...It doesn't even matter if you know anything about what you'll be consulting on right now...Big claims?*Yes. But they're true. Here's why...The hardest part about consulting is the work that's done prior to the actual consulting. That means the niche research, understanding pain points, understanding what plagues a large group of people, and then finding a solution to that problem.Anyone can do that with the right guidance...and that's exactly what this Course will show you. It'll take you through picking the right Niche, how to do market research properly, how to create your offer, how to sign clients, and how to scale your business (all from wherever you want to work - you don't need to get hired by a company to be a consultant...and you don't need an fancy office to succeed).Want proof?*Enroll and find out for yourself.Remember there's a full 30 day money back guarantee so if you're not completely satisfied and excited about this business model, get your money back. But I'm willing to bet you will be!See you in there...

Description
Hi, I'm Darren Yeo, Watercolour Artist from Melbourne, Victoria. Welcome to "Loose Watercolour Painting Essentials".In this course, you'll learn and apply concepts of depth, composition, layering, perspective as well as essential watercolour techniques in order to create a beautiful painting. In addition to theory and practical exercises, there are also 11 included projects that we will complete together. I'll walk you through in real-time the techniques I'm using such as wet-in-wet and wet-in-dry. I'll also show you how to simplify and sketch any scene in pencil. This course is aimed at beginners and intermediate painters. There are scans, drawing, and tracing templates included for each project to help you transfer your drawing over quickly and easily. In this course, I narrate my demonstrations in real-time. I explain every technique I use in the context of the painting, such as layering into wet areas to paint shadows of a tree or building. I'll be going over the essentials of layering wet-in-wet and wet in dry watercolour. I'll talk about what materials you'll need, and which ones I use and recommend. If you have some brushes, watercolour paints, and paper, then you're set to go.So join me in this course - let's create some beautiful watercolour paintings that you can be proud of!In this course, I will cover basics such as:How to use various watercolour techniques such as wet-in-dry, wet-in-wet, pulling out paint, lifting, splatter, dry-brush in different contextsUnderstanding water control and mixing in watercolour paintingHow to use different brushes in different circumstancesHow to use perspective to create depth and plan your scene according to a vantage point of your choosingHow to Draw and compose your painting - as well as separate theoretical and technical lessons, each project includes a planning component where you will learn how to sketch in a basic blueprint for your painting. I will show you how to place the horizon line, and how to quickly and accurately sketch in the reference photo. I will also talk about how I use my sketch to plan out the steps of my watercolour painting afterwardsHow to use complementary colours to create vibrancy and interest in your watercolour paintingsHow to paint skies, mountains, water, trees, shadows, buildings and figures in a soft and loose manner, using a combination of wet-in-wet and wet-in-dry techniques. I'll talk about how and when to wet your watercolour paper to obtain particular results such as the appearance of soft clouds, and when to paint in more rigid and accurate shapes once the paper has driedThe importance of timing in watercoloursAssignment:Your course project is to sketch and paint a watercolour landscape or streetscape! This can be a scene featured in one of the course demonstration videos or based on one of your own photographs or scenes you've observed outside. You can also refer to the scanned drawing/painting templates attached below which will allow you to trace the drawings if you choose to do so. I recommend drawing each scene free hand. Drawing is an important step in improving your painting skills. This provides you with an opportunity to compose and plan your painting. Complete your drawing lightly and loosely in pencil so that it won't show through in the final painting. Once you've finished the drawing, use the watercolour steps and processes included in the course demonstrations to complete your painting. Finally, upload your project.Materials:Use any normal or mechanical pencil, watercolour paper, and brushes you have available. I recommend:· Mechanical pencil (0.5mm)· 100% cotton watercolour paper or sketchbook· Watercolour Brushes - mop brush and a variety of round and flat brushes.Getting Started:Review the course demonstrations on watercolour theory, techniques, and mindset first. There are 11 different demonstrations that you can draw and paint from. You can also download the tracing templates to transfer over your drawing. Remember to watch the video on 'Materials Required' to help you obtain similar results and effects. Always use the best materials you can afford. As an additional challenge, research some free reference photo websites and find a reference photo you would like to paint. Using the steps and processes included in this course, create your own unique watercolour sketch.Sharing Your Work:Once you've finished, share your final painting and progress shots with the course by uploading them to the Udemy Q&A or Discussions section. I'll provide you with constructive feedback on your painting if you ask. If you have any questions or need more tips, please let me know. I'm happy to help.

Description
Hi, I'm Darren from Watercolour Mentor. In "Urban Landscapes In Watercolor: Atmosphere and Vibrancy", you'll learn how to create fresh and vibrant watercolour landscapes by following my 3-step layering process. Learn to build your confidence by using bright and bold colours. You'll learn to be bold in your brushstrokes and colours to create some beautiful impressionistic landscapes. Show them off to your friends and family!BONUS: 1-hour Manhattan Workshop. This bonus workshop is located at the end of the course lectures. You will learn the entire process to paint a loose Manhattan street scene. Many beginners often paint too light, too dark, or in the same tone. This can lead to flat paintings that lack character. Colour also plays an important role. Using complementary colours or warm/cool colours next to one another creates stunning compositions that demand attention! You will learn how to select colours that 'pop' and allow you to express your inner artistic vision.I'll be covering:Sketching - how to reduce a photo or scene in front of you down to essentials and pick out elements and objects of focus.Layering - learn how you only need 2-3 layers in order to complete a watercolour paintingHow to use colour effectively to create areas of interest or portray the mood of a sceneHow to use tone, or light and dark areas to create depth and richness in your paintingsHow to create a feeling of atmosphere in your paintingsHow to create vibrancy and expressiveness in your paintings through colour and the use of different brush strokesComposition - how to plan and compose your painting from pencil sketch to finishing paintingFor the course project, follow along with the sketching and painting demonstrations (all 4 landscapes have a pencil sketching and watercolour painting component). It is important to complete the sketching exercises in each landscape scene, as this provides you with an opportunity to practice composing a painting. This will increase your confidence in completing your painting and more importantly allow you to plan.If you have finished the 6 landscapes featured in this class, pick a royalty-free photograph or perhaps one of your own landscape photographs, and using the process and techniques described in this class, create your own unique painting. Finally, upload your painting(s) in the Q&A or discussions section! If you have questions or would like feedback on your work, let me know and I will get back to you.Note: Scanned images of my final paintings, as well as the original (royalty-free) reference photographs, are included below.
