Data Structures & Algorithms: Part 1
Mp4 | Video: h264, 1920x1080 | Audio: AAC,48KHz, 2 Ch | 4.5h | 5.99 GB | Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Description

Studied Computer Science - but never really understood the complex topic of data structures and algorithms?

Or maybe you're a self-taught programmer, with little to no knowledge of this important topic.

Or perhaps you failed a job interview because you couldn't answer basic data structure and algorithm questions.

So, why are data structures so important these days?

Data structures and algorithms are patterns for solving problems. Developers who know more about data structures and algorithms are better at solving problems. That's why companies like Google, Microsoft and Amazon always include interview questions on data structures and algorithms. They want to assess your problem-solving skills. They don't care how many programming languages and frameworks you're familiar with.

A complex topic made simple
That's why I made this course. I want to demystify data structures and algorithms once and for all.

I remember being hopelessly confused when my college lecturer tried to teach it, many moons ago. So I had to teach myself. Now I'm an expert on the topic, and I want to save you the dozens of hours I wasted at the library trying to wrap my head around it.

Packed with the most popular interview questions and step-by-step solutions

By the end of this course.
You'll be able to:

Ace your next coding interview
Write better, faster code
Become a better developer
Improve your problem solving skills
Master computer science fundamentals
Implement all the essential data structures from scratch
Master dozens of popular algorithms
What you're going to learn
This course is the first of a series. In this part, we'll be focusing on linear data structures. Part 2 is all about trees and graphs. Part 3 is about searching and sorting algorithms.

Here's what you're going to learn in the first part:

The Big O notation
Arrays
Linked Lists
Stacks
Queues
Hash Tables

This is the most comprehensive data structures and algorithms series online. Every example and exercise is picked from popular interview questions asked by Google, Microsoft, Amazon and other big companies.

Who is this course for?

Anyone preparing for a coding job interview
Computer science students whose lecturers failed to explain the topics
Self-taught developers who missed out on a computer science degree
Anyone who wants to become a better developer
Requirements
In this course, I use Java to teach the concepts but you can apply these concepts in any programming language. Our focus is on data structures and algorithms, not programming languages and tools.

All you need to take this course are some basic programming skills. If you know variables, loops, and conditional statements, you're good. If you need a quick refresher to get up to speed with Java syntax, you can watch the first part of my Java series.

You don't need any experience with data structures or algorithms.

Description

The Complete Environment Painting Super Course will give you a total introduction to digital painting landscapes and environments. Or your money back.

Throughout this course, you'll be taught the art and design skills you always wanted to learn. Whether you're just learning as a hobbyist, or you plan on becoming a professional digital illustrator or concept artist. This is the perfect course for you.

Throughout this course you'll be going through over 13 hours of live narrated content, over 30 lectures, and 55 downloadable resources. First I'll be bringing you through the very basics of perspective, then shading and rendering, and finally drawing and painting your very own beautiful scenes and backgrounds from scratch.

Here's what you'll get in this course:

Instant access to all 30 lectures, in 7 sections.

over 13 hours of live, narrated content where I'll be bringing you through every step in real time.

The course is laid out in an easy to understand format:

First I'll be teaching you the fundamentals of perspective. We'll go through 1 and 2 point perspective, offering the same assignments that I had when I was a student in some of the top design schools.

After that, I'll be teaching you the importance of lighting and how to shade and render the basic elements that create everything. Spheres, Cubes, Cones, and Cylinders. These are the elements that make up almost everything around us.

Next you'll be learning about color theory and which colors to choose for your shadows and lights. Color is an essential part of establishing the mood in a painting.

After this you'll be combining the basic forms in order to bring what we've learned so far together and make some recognizable scenes.

Next we move on to jumping straight into building our first scene. You'll start by drawing out a line work and setting up the perspective exactly how I taught you in the perspective lessons. We'll focus on composition and object placement to make the most of the space in our canvas. Focusing heavily on setting up our image to achieve a feeling of depth, which is one of the most important things in environment painting.

After this we refine the sketch to further enhance the idea. Redrawing it and making sure all of our elements are in place before painting.

Next we'll begin by roughly painting the main colors in. Figuring out what color everything is as well as how things change color the further they get away. Applying what we learned earlier in the color theory into some real painting situations.

Lastly after we get the main elements of our painting established. Our colors in place, and everything set up. We'll start detailing the painting and adding all the little elements that bring the painting to life. Painting grass, wood, fencing and trees.

In the next session we'll do another line work. Starting rough and working cleaner. I'll teach you to draw on top of a 3 point perspective grid.

This painting will be started by first finding all of our shadows before we start with colors. It's important to know our shadows and lighting before we start adding details.

After this the next few hours are spent adding tons and tons of detail. I'll be explaining how high detail images are really just a series of decisions made over and over and is actually quite simple. By the end of this section you'll be a master of detail!

Throughout this entire course you'll be learning:

How to use perspective and understand it

How to choose great and lively colors

How to render and shade objects realistically

Starting a sketch

Finishing a sketch

Starting a painting

finishing a painting

Gig Money - How To Live The Gig Life

Gig Money - How To Live The Gig Life - Earn 1K+ Daily From Rich Clients -
Here's How Google Defines The Gig Economy
Per Google search - A gig economy is a free market system in which temporary positions are common and businesses contract with independent workers for short-term engagements. The term "gig" is a slang word meaning "a job for a specified period of time".

Here's a fun fact about Google and the gig economy - Google now has more gig workers on their payroll than full-time employees.
But wait, there's more. Back in 2017, the CEO of Intuit said "the gig economy is now estimated to be 34% of the workforce and expected to be 43% by the year 2020". Furthermore, it's predicted that the "gig economy" will simply become "the economy", as hundreds of millions of micro-businesses will replace hundreds of millions of 9-5 jobs.
If you look around, you'll notice that there are gig workers everywhere. They shop for people, deliver food to people, drive people around and do just about anything else you can imagine.
And here's an even stranger truth: these days you can become a complete hermit and literally never leave your home. Live ever. And you can do that because gig workers are available to do everything you need.

Here's My Definition of The Gig Economy
You do small, short-term jobs (gigs) for businesses. The gigs are profitable for you. And when you finish a gig, you forget about it and move onto something else.
You are not married to anything. You don't deal with an idiot boss, annoying co-workers, annoying customers, company politics, stupid meetings, off-shoring, salary-pruning, cost-cutting or any of the other typical business drudge.
You do a gig. You get paid. You walk away. And you do it all on your own schedule, at your own pace and your own way.
It's NOT a full-time endeavor, second job, part-time job or any other type of employment.
It's a gig. You only do the gigs you want. You always get paid what you want. And when the gig is done, you move onto the next one.whenever you want.
In the gig life, you and only you decide what work you'll do, when you do it and how much you'll be paid for it. It's freedom 101.

"After 12+ years of teaching entrepreneurs how to achieve more success with whatever niche they occupy - I've observed some consistent trends. I've seen the patterns. Catalogued what works. Experienced what's risky, what's safe. What's daunting and what's so much easier.

One thing that I have lived, and breathed, and seen over and over again: Consulting Income Is the Fastest, Most Reliable Way to Make Money Without the Boot of "The Man" on Your Neck. Thousands of successful companies are ready to write big checks for someone who helps them grow faster. And because you're working on THEIR marketing funnel and THEIR ads and THEIR website - there are so many things you DON'T need, and still make money in consulting that you WOULD need when you sell your own products online."

Ever been asked for advice? By a friend? By a neighbor? By someone you met online? You say something about keywords or SEO or Google and they start peppering you with questions?
Maybe you gave your advice for free (and experienced the joy of being ignored because you gave it away).
Or maybe you charged for it.
But you know for a fact that there is a never-ending surplus of entrepreneurs and big companies that desperately need guidance and expertise.
I know most of your friends and neighbors are not ideal prospects. But their questions prove there's LOTS of demand for real expert advice on how to grow a business. When you know how to find the ones that can pay you well, life as a consultant becomes pretty sweet.
That is why I'm 100% pro-consulting.
If you've trained with me and my team on any topic from AdWords to Autoresponders then you know 10x more than legions of entrepreneurs who need you to help grow their company.

Even if your expertise is something entirely different from marketing, the simple fact that you're a Planet Perry member means you're above average.
At last year's consulting seminar, two brilliant programmers from Minneapolis came up to me and said, "We were joking with each other that it's a rude awakening to not be the smartest two guys in the room - the people in this room are just incredibly talented.

I am quite confident that you're above average. You've always been one of the smarter people in any room - even if others didn't always recognize it.
Some clients will pay you handsomely to solve their problem.
Some will give you a piece of the upside.
A few will even give you equity... if you ask.
As delicious as that sounds, one of the biggest challenges facing you when you start to hang out your shingle as a consultant is finding your first client.

So if your biggest internal resistance is fear of getting a client... not knowing where you'll find him... or how you'll approach him... or what you'll say if you get on Skype or GoToMeeting with them...
I Guarantee that If You Don't Get A New Client in the First 90 Days, You Can Get A Full Refund from the Consulting Accelerator Program

Zoology: Understanding the Animal World

Zoology: Understanding the Animal World
The Great Courses / Donald E. Moore III | Duration: 12 h 24 m | Video: H264 640x360 | Audio: AAC 48 kHz 2ch | 2,87 GB | Language: English | 2018

Chief among these zoos is the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute. The overarching goal of this remarkable modern zoo is to educate everyday people about the astonishing range of animal species: how they live, how they develop, and how they impact the world. Thousands flock to this beautiful zoo every day to visit animals they've never before seen and, often, never knew existed.

Helping the average visitor navigate this exciting world are zoologists, the hard-working scientists whose research in areas like animal intelligence, ecology, behavior, and conservation are helping us make better sense of the animal world, from mosquitos and monarch butterflies to polar bears and great white sharks. Much of what we know-and are currently learning-about animals is thanks to the scientific field of zoology.

As much as we love an informative trip to the zoo, the truth is that you can't learn everything there is to know about animals with the occasional visit. But by exploring zoology and the tireless work of zoologists at the Smithsonian's National Zoo-and other zoological parks and aquariums across the country-you'll find your next trip to the zoo more rewarding, more enriching, and much more satisfying.

In Zoology: Understanding the Animal World, The Great Courses teams up with the Smithsonian, the acknowledged leader in animal research, conservation, and education, to bring you 24 visually rich lectures that take you behind the scenes of not only the animal world but of the scientists trying to understand how it works. Dr. Donald E. Moore III-director of the Oregon Zoo and senior science advisor at the Smithsonian's National Zoo-has crafted a wonderful introduction to the fundamentals of zoology through the eyes of a trained zoologist, bringing you up close and personal with a breathtaking variety of animal species: crocodiles, birds of prey, lions, dolphins, giant pandas, elephants, and more. Packed with exclusive footage from zoos, research parks, and animals in their natural habitats, as well as interviews with other Smithsonian scientists, these lectures will reveal the hidden world of animals in a way no textbook could ever hope to do.
