Instructor: Seán Duggan

Today's cameras do a great job with low-light and night scenes, but there's always room for improvement-from noise reduction and tonal adjustment, to advanced techniques, such as combining difference exposures. In this course, photographer and educator Sean Duggan explores a range of Camera Raw and Photoshop post-processing techniques aimed at expanding your creative options for night and low-light photography. He begins in Camera Raw for general enhancements and then turns to Photoshop to capitalize on its Merge to HDR feature, which can create high-dynamic-range images for capturing a wide contrast range common in some night scenes. Finally, he includes techniques specifically for photography of the night sky, including how to use luminosity masks on photos of the Milky Way.

Topics include:

Using neutral guides to set white balance
Removing chromatic aberration
Reducing noise
Working with 32-bit HDR images
Stacking layers and combining exposures
Improving star photography
Creating a luminosity mask

First Impression Mastery: 4 Steps To Connecting With Anyone

First Impression Mastery: 4 Steps To Connecting With Anyone
MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 48KHz 2ch | Duration: 1.5 Hours | Lec: 24 | 1.47 GB | Language: English + Sub .VTT

Create amazing first impressions that command respect, impress even VIPs, and leave people wanting to stay in touch

What you'll learn
Consistently make an amazing first impression on anyone they meet
Put yourself at a serious advantage every time you make a pitch, whether you're selling a product or selling yourself
Make people want to stay in touch after interacting with you for just a few minutes
Turn those passing acquaintances you meet every day into friends, business partners, or maybe even a boyfriend or girlfriend

Requirements
There are no pre-requisites to this course, though after completion, students may be interested in the Conversation Mastery course

Description
Do you want to make an amazing impression on everyone you meet?

It doesn't matter if you're walking into a social scene or if you're stepping into the boardroom to make a pitch to a room of CEOs and investors.

If you aren't at the top of your game during the first impression, you're sunk.

It doesn't matter how compelling you are later, research shows that if you don't make a good first impression you won't even get a chance.

Has that ever happened to you? You hesitate or freeze up and the best of your personality doesn't shine through?

Maybe it's a first meeting with some senior managers at your company. Maybe it's with an attractive person you meet at a social gathering.

You freeze up and don't know what to do. You get stuck in your own head, or worse, say something stupid which just makes them go, "Who the heck is this person?"

If so, you're not alone.

I used to do that on a daily basis.

I'd be fine with close friends and people I knew well. But give me an opportunity to meet someone that I wanted to connect with and my nerves would get the best of me. I'd shut down, blow it, and never get another chance with them.

And it wasn't just me.

FACT: FIRST IMPRESSIONS "STICK

Sociologists studying first impressions found that first impressions become "bound" in people's memories.

What does that mean? Well, lets say you mess up the second or third meeting.

Studies show people are likely to think it was just situational. They think, "Oh he was just having an off moment."

But If you do the same exact thing in your first meeting, that impression becomes bound to YOU. Not the situation. So if you screw up the first meeting, people are likely to think YOU are a screw up.

On the other hand, if you make an amazing impression, you get the benefit of people thinking highly of you in future interactions.

Now do you see why those first few minutes of interaction are so important?

And yet, nobody talks about how to master them!

You're supposed to be on all the time.

And you probably are pretty often, but it's in those high pressure situations where first impressions really count.

So rather than just accept that we were doomed to be hit or miss in our impressions, I got to work.

I started breaking down everything the most charismatic people were doing when they met other people. I studied the kind of people that others seem to like instantly.

What I found is that if you want to make an impression like these people you're going to have to do some things differently.

(But don't worry.it's not like anything they are doing is immoral or super difficult. In fact, if you do it right, you'll actually find that all of your first interactions go better - not just the high pressure ones.)

It's not very complicated either. There are just 4 emotions you need to hit on to make an incredible impression EVERY time.

Who this course is for?
This course is meant for people who want to master the first 5 minutes of any interaction to make a great first impression.
It is not meant to overcome severe social anxiety, nor is it meant to address the entirety of an interaction.
It is geared specifically to help people develop a consistent habit of making great impressions on the people they meet in their day-to-day, whether professionally or personally.

The Spring framework is the most widely used framework in the modern world of software and Java application Development. It is a comprehensive tool that supports Java applications and allows you to create high-quality software at a rapid pace.

While there are a multitude of web applications and other technologies that use Java, what sets Spring apart from them its large array of resources for integrating applications, streamlining code, and promoting more efficient development of strategies. The Spring framework has a broad set of strategies that supports various enterprise applications, allowing you to create efficient, testable and versatile code in all development environments.

Just look at these numbers.

Spring is growing at an exponential rate and is set to become the most popular Java Framework soon. Surveys have shown that almost 40% of web developers have switched from using Java EE to Spring, with 50% using both technologies.

And more so, the move to Spring Framework 5.0 is evident, with 25% of Spring-backed systems running on the latest version.

In the last three years, Spring MVC and Spring Boot have steadily been voted the most popular tools for web framework and microservices development.

The average salary of a Spring professional is roughly $114,000, with a steady increase each year.

Do you want the skills to be highly sought after?

Did you answer, Absolutely to that question?

If so, then our new training program "Hands-On Guide To Microservices With Java Spring Framework 5" is for you.

What Sets Us Apart?

Complete beginner to expert skills - This course does not assume any expertise in the Spring Framework. We give you step by step instructions and in fact, we hand hold you through all the exercises together with you.

That's why we focus on building up your understanding for infinitely better results down the line.

What if I don't have any need for learning Spring right now?

It is extremely lightweight, it offers declarative transactions, it gives you a better way of doing everything, from dealing with JDBC, to working with ORM, to implementing web services. Spring is just one step ahead!

There is an evident shortage of Spring professionals today. There is so much to learn in the Spring Framework, and the demand for competent Spring professionals is definitely high! In fact, you would be hard pressed to find a job posting for Java developers that doesn't mention Spring as one of the requirements.

There is an advancement in technology that is rapidly expanding into our lives each and every day, meaning even though you may not be directly using any of this right now, sooner or later you will run into it inevitably.

I am not an engineer; will this course still benefit me?
