Hosting Django: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Fundamentals
MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 44KHz 2ch | Duration: 6 Hours | 1.87 GB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English
A beginner SysAdmin course for Django web developers. Learn to launch, optimize & scale your app in Amazon Web Services.

Setting up servers for your business or startup can be a tedious and expensive process, particularly when you're just starting out or switching to a new platform. Amazon Web Services is incredible but you can still feel like you're becoming an accidental System Administrator trying to set everything up correctly. However, with the right instructions, you can get up and running in a few hours-saving you time, money, and a headache.

This course will walk you through Amazon's Web Services, with a focus on setting up Django and leveraging their Free Tier to keep your project free (for low-bandwidth uses for one year). We'll start with the very basics of launching and configuring Django on EC2, discussing different ways to connect to your system while keeping it secure, we'll progress to fine tuning your system with fast and efficient content delivery, and finally we'll dive into all the ways that you can scale your system on this incredibly elastic platform.

What this course is:

An easy-to-understand walkthrough on how to host Django using Amazon Web Services which covers: launching a Django-ready server in minutes or optionally launching a "plain" Ubuntu server and configuring Django + dependencies manually (see below for server details), setting up and enhancing security, using FTP & SSH to transfer over project files (a sample project is included) securely, serving static (CSS/JS/Image) files from a Django server and leveraging Cloud Storage (S3 and CloudFront CDN) to make your site faster, setting your project up for production, upgrading your instance for immediate performance increases, adding more instances and load balancing them, separating and vertically scaling your database, automatic scaling with cloud monitoring, deploying automatically with Beanstalk, and more. If you're not happy after taking the course, you will absolutely get your money back.

(Server Configuration Details: Ubuntu Linux 14.04 with Apache, Mod_WSGI, MySQL & Django - but you can easily switch to Nginx/PostgreSQL, if preferred)

What this course is not:

Amazon has a very wide range (hundreds) of features. If you are looking for help on a particular AWS feature, view the curriculum below to make sure that it's covered. We cover many features but cannot claim to cover everything.

Every single question that is raised in the discussion panel is responded to, but this may not be the best resource to diagnose your server issues. Keep in mind that Amazon offers all kinds of support that is available 24x7.

I've enjoyed working with Django and AWS these last couple years - it's what I use for my business - and I would now like to help more people take advantage of this great offer and incredibly scalable stack.

If you want to save yourself some time, money, and, possibly a headache, use this guide to speed up the process of understanding this powerful, scalable platform - remember, Amazon hosts everyone - from the busiest sites on the net, to startups on the Free Tier.

Data-driven applications depend on remote queries that run through APIs.

Data-driven applications depend on remote queries that run through APIs. For years, web services have provided basic support for simple query structures. Those services, however, often constrained developers who needed more granular approaches that provided flexibility without creating a huge collection of unnecessary calls. GraphQL-a query language for APIs that was originally built by Facebook-allows developers to choose the kinds of requests they want to make, and receive information on multiple facets of that query in one request. The GraphQL approach to querying across networks can address a wide variety of large-scale development problems. In this course, learn how to get started with GraphQL. Eve Porcello walks through the basics of this query language, diving into the data fetching specification, and helping you get up to speed with the syntax and vocabulary of GraphQL. Eve explains how to create basic queries, including how to work with arguments and multiple fields. She also goes into complex techniques for handling data, including working with aliases, fragments, and pagination. Plus, she covers how to edit and transform data with mutations.

* Learning about the origins of GraphQL
* Learning about how GraphQL makes data fetching and updating easier
* Creating basic queries
* Using multiple fields
* Understanding schemas
* Handling data
* Drilling down into nested fields with a query
* Adding variables for argument values
* Creating mutations
* Adding a reaction mutation

The Calculus 3 Tutor: Volume 2
DVDRips | AVI/XviD, ~708 kb/s | 640x368 | Duration: 10:39:47 | English: MP3, 112 kb/s (2 ch) | 3.57 GB
Genre: Math

Most topics in calculus 3 are challenging because almost all of the problems are 3-dimenstional in nature. It takes time for the student to master how to visualize the problems in order to solve them. Once this is done, things are much easier. This DVD course teaches by example and you gain practice immediately with this visualization and problem solving techniques.

Our calculus video tutor lectures are based on a singular principle - and that is the fact that if a student needs help with calculus, the task of learning becomes much easier when the calculus lectures are taught by someone who understands the frustration of a new student who is just starting out with this subject.

No matter if you are in business calculus, if you are a mathematics major, if you are a high school calculus student, a homeschooled calculus student, or an engineering student, our calculus video lectures will help you learn calculus. We back up this claim with a money back guarantee!

If you need calculus help, you'll be interested to know that every single calculus video lecture features numerous solutions to calculus problems that you are likely to encounter in class. Furthermore, our lectures do not only deal with the easier calculus problems. Our calculus lectures feature calculus problems of all complexities ranging from the elementary problems all the way to the challenging problems that you will likely find on your exams.

You will also find that our calculus video lectures serve as a fantastic reference for calculus solutions as you work through homework problems. In many cases it is very helpful to see a similar problem worked out in detail as a guide to your own homework problems. When viewing a solution to a similar problem in calculus, it can in many cases help you turn the corner in discovering the solution to your homework problems.
