Description
During this second part of the complete series "The Complete F5 Bootcamp (LTM,ASM,DNS)" , we tackled the main needed configurations related to the most important features of f5 bigip DNS*module .Section one is a quick introduction to DNS*protocol and role of DNS*module inside our network , also we have tackled the main internal functions of f5 bigip DNS module (*DNS*Acceleration , Intelligent DNS*&*DNSSEC ) .In section two , we have discussed the main technologies could be used for improving the performance of resolving of existed DNS*servers in our internal environment by using three main methods :- - DNS*Acceleration .- DNS*Cache .- Load Balancing .In the next section , we have covered all the needed objects inside GSLB or Intelligent DNS*and how to configure them on our bigip DNS*module :- - Servers / Virtual Servers .- Datacenters .- Pools .- Wide IPs .Section four is an application on the load balancing methods that we can use on the intelligent DNS*to make the best answer DNS*response to the client like ( Round trip time , Number of hops , Topology , Least Connections , .... )*.Finally we'll see some different topics could be used with bigip DNS*module like ( DNSSEC , iRules ) and how to use both on our bigip DNS*module .
