Target Tracking by Airborne Radar Systems: Fundamentals of Multitarget Tracking
English | 2026 | ISBN: 1032528656 | 534 pages | True PDF,EPUB | 49.7 MB
Automated target tracking is a necessary function of airborne radar and radio control systems. At the present time, there is no classified approach to design and construct principles, functioning features, methods, algorithms, and procedures of synthesis and analysis of airborne radar target tracking systems by the range, velocity, and azimuth, satisfying all long‑term requirements. The second volume, Target Tracking by Airborne Radar Systems: Fundamentals of Multitarget Tracking, is intended to cover the demands of uncertainty in multipurpose air and surface target tracking.
Features
Contains factual information about the current status of automated airborne radar target tracking systems, useful for a wide range of experts including military and civilian personnel, radio engineers, radar designers, and others
Provides several new perspectives on methods of synthesis, analysis, and design of airborne radar target tracking systems
Presents examples of how to practice implementation
Presents general information about the procedures to design and construct specific target
tracking algorithms and to study their working capacity
Describes multipurpose air and surface target tracking modes employed by monostatic and multistatic airborne radar systems when targets are present in both resolved and unresolved groups
Detailed algorithmic implementation procedures are provided, offering valuable guidance for radio and radar engineers, radar experts, and MS and PhD students.
