Beschreibung

Sein Leben in Scherben, findet sich Max Payne wieder - beim NYPD. Während der Routine-Untersuchung eines Mordes läuft ihm Mona Sax über den Weg. Eine Frau, die er für tot gehalten hatte, eine Femme Fatale unter Mordverdacht. Sie hat die Antworten zu den Fragen, die ihn verfolgen. Aber nichts ist einfach in der dunklen, tragischen New Yorker Nacht. Eine Armee von Unterwelt-Schergen steht zwischen ihm und den Antworten, die er sucht. Immer tiefer hinein geht die Reise in seine ganz persönliche Hölle.

Auch im zweiten Teil der storylastigen Ballerorgie stehen fetzige Action und spektakuläre Zeitlupeneffekte im Vordergrund. Der abgehalfterte Bulle Max wird einmal mehr in finstere Machenschaften verwickelt, denen er nur mithilfe eines stattlichen Waffenarsenals und akrobatischen Hechtsprüngen Herr werden kann.
