About the Author
JESSE WEGMAN has been a member of The New York Times editorial board since 2013, writing editorials on the Supreme Court and legal affairs. He was previously a senior editor at the Daily Beast and Neweek , a legal ne editor at Reuters , and the managing editor of the New York Observer. He graduated from New York University School of Law in 2005.
