The PathWave development team is pleased to announce the availability of Model Builder (MBP). This release adds the new UTSOI2 model extraction package, the new MOSRA-API based model extraction package, the new Lib Tweaking feature and the enhancements in Corner Tweaking.

UTSOI2 Baseband Model Extraction Package (W8608EP/ET)
- Automated model extraction flow
- Simulation and extraction of the DC, CV and temperature parameters
- Internal engine supports the latest model 2.x versions
MOSRA based Aging Model Extraction Packages (W8614EP/ET)
- New MOSRA-API based custom model extraction package
- Improves the HSPICE simulation speed of MOSRA built-in Level 3 model
Lib Tweaking
- Enable to tweak the advanced SPICE model library containing shared library
- Parses a HSPICE/Spectre library and selects the model card
- Easily model parameter selection, tuning and optimization as conventional models
Enhancements in the Corner Tweaking module
- Supports sub-circuit (both global and binning) model
- Allows to overlay the Wafer Acceptance Test (WAT) mapping data to the NP polygon Description
New Model Versions
- BSIM-BULK 106.2.0 with TMEMOD (TSMC enhancement)

Documentation
Starting with the 2020 release, the online help gets a new user interface. The new UI improves overall online help usability by providing the following key benefits in addition to several other minor benefits:
- Table of Contents Sidebar: Displays collapsible Table of Contents for the entire documentation. The left-double-arrow icon collapses the sidebar, and the right-double-arrow icon displays the sidebar back again.
- PDF Button: Allows you to instantly generate PDFs of the latest documentation anytime, including current page's children pages. Currently, the PDF generation option is available only for 2020 release. For other releases, you can switch to their Printing Manuals page and download the existing PDFs like earlier.
- Product Release Switcher: Allows you to view the current page in other supported releases listed in the drop-down menu. Once you select a release from the drop-down menu, the current page is updated to show the content applicable to the selected release. The Table of Contents is updated as well. With this, you bookmark URL of only one release and then switch to other releases from this drop-down menu.
- Latest Documentation: The documentation available in the new UI is always kept updated for all supported releases. These updates are available to you as soon as they happen at our end. This provides you 24x7 access to the most recent and technically accurate documentation.
Model Builder Program (MBP) is a complete modeling solution that integrates SPICE simulation, model parameter extraction and model library generation. MBP supports the latest standard models including BSIM-BULK, BSIM-CMG and BSIM-IMG for logic, analog and RF designs. Besides compact models, MBP also supports the macro (subcircuit) model and Verilog-A model.
MBP provides automatic extraction packages. The script environment enables extraction flow customization, device target definition and GUI operations.
