Description
Start with a great beginning... This course is focused on the first MAKE*or BREAK*MOMENTS*of a presentation (virtual or LIVE)--THE OPENER! Perfect for beginners or people sharpening their skills to teach others. One BIG*secret to a POSITIVE*experience with public speaking is having the the beginning/opening GO*WELL--we're talking NO nerves or fear!!!Not that long ago, I*was sought out to teach thousands of software developers how to share their what they know in a way that CONNECTS with their audience. Here's what one of them had to say after this course:*"I consider Jason to be the best trainer, the best presenter, and most of all, the best teacher here. I've always recommended that team members find a way to attend his classes to learn about not just the source material, but also the finer points of public speaking. I still think the ''Opener' talk you gave about public speaking/presenting was one of the best I've seen."*Josh Holzbauer -- Project ManagerHe's talking about THIS*course......so this process has been tested with REAL audiences and it just does work! Let me ask you a question...Are your seeing a physiological reaction or aversion to public speaking that causes tears, hiding (begging to stay home from school) sweating, shaking, talking too fast, forgetting what to say, or even not being able to speak at all?REST*ASSURED--this is COMMON!!Back to the secret....The first five minutes can be the HARDEST part! And you're not alone.A Gallup poll confirmed that the greatest fear of 40 percent of Americans is public speaking......it's even worse than the fear of death for most people. It turns out that 3 out of 4 individuals suffer from speech anxiety. 75 Percent! It also accounts for 19% and the largest majority of those suffering from some form of phobia out there.(You might be perfectly comfortable up there and STILL*SHOWING*NERVES!)And women and men are equally affected with public speaking anxiety.Yet, most thought leaders (who may know a TON of great information BTW) TRY to use these techniques to build their tribe. You may be a great speaker, with great ideas, but if you can't get through those first five minutes of shakes, paralysis, nerves and fear, then it doesn't matter. It causes you bad feelings, embarrassment, humiliation, or lost opportunities. You're not BORN a great public speaker. You ARE born with a FEAR of public speaking. So how do you get rid of that fear enough so that you can at least go on stage without all the nerves and fear showing and get through that first FIVE minutes???Like I said, this is a 5-step formula (13-technique recipe)....actually, it's more like a 13-step INJECTION OF CONFIDENCE TO GIVE A NO-FEAR SHOWING KILLER PRESENTATION OPENER!!!In steps 1 - 4 we'll cover everything you must say and do at 45 min, 20 min, 10 min and 5 min BEFORE your next presentation so you can calm your nerves and fear before you even take the stage .In steps 5 - 7 we'll optimize your opener right from the get go so you can get people to TRUST you by making THEM feel SAFE with you.Specifically, we'll cover. How to overcome your nerves in the first 30 seconds in front of your audience. The exact steps to introduce yourself with confidence and what to NEVER say.How to give your credentials that gets them to listen. The secret "why formula" that no audience can resist that puts YOU in the drivers seat IMMEDIATELY.Steps 8 - 13 are all about KEEPING your nerves and fear at bay by getting them to believe you and to listen to you.In these final steps, we'll cover. How to give a credible statement that brands you an expert they want to listen to.The "circle of knowledge" that identifies what THEY want and gets THEM to talk so YOU can "get off stage" and regroup. How to reveal your takeaways in a way that gets RAPT attention and excitement.Opener checklist to test your own opener and apply these steps IMMEDIATELY.Again, this is the same 5-step formula (13-technique recipe) I used with hundreds of software developers to help them overcome their nerves and fear and get up on stage and deliver a killer Presentation Opener. .so it's not like we're a one hit wonder. :).and you'll get to see me model exactly how to do these 13 steps with a live audience..so I know this works!Personally, I wouldn't attempt to open a presentation without having a proven, step-by-step recipe to follow..and this is especially true if you have a natural fear of public speaking.I mean it!DO NOT Deliver Another Presentation Opener Until You've Watched This Video!!!Dale Carnegie once said."As I looked back and evaluated my own college training, I saw that the training and experience I had had in public speaking had been of more practical value to me in business--and in life--than everything else I had studied in college all put together. Why? Because it had wiped out my timidity and lack of self-confidence and given me the courage and assurance to deal with people. It had also made clear that leadership usually gravitates to the man who can get up and say what he thinks." -Dale CarnegieThat's the problem for most people with a public speaking phobia....because of their timidity and lack of self-confidence, they don't have the courage and assurance to deal with people....or open a presentation with confidence... At Rule the Room Public Speaking, we have an advantage over everyone else.As public speakers ourselves, we actually do this stuff! You'll get to see me MODEL everything we suggest you do. Don't get me wrong.I've had to conquer my own nerves and fear of public speaking. That's why we're so careful to document WHAT WORKS into a simple, easy to follow steps so you can duplicate the results. In the past, this 5-step formula (13-technique recipe) was mine alone. .but now I'm making it available to the public. So now you don't have to go it alone up there! And...Be more confident and comfortable at public speaking.Deliver a confident, articulate, and eloquent presentation opener with no nervousness showing.*Talk in an authoritative, slow, and deliberate way that is engaging to your audience.*Speak at any venue, any presentation, any meeting without the fear or nerves holding you back.Click the button and start giving a killer presentation opener TODAY.See you on the inside...About Your InstructorInternational Public Speaking Coach, TEDx Speaker and Best Selling author Jason Teteak has taught more than one million people how to flawlessly command attention and connect with audiences in their unique style. He's won praise and a wide following for his original methods, his engaging style, and his knack for transferring communications skills via practical, simple, universal and immediately actionable techniques.Or as he puts it "No theoretical fluff".Jason gained recognition at EPIC Systems in the medical software industry, where he was known as "trainer of trainers of trainers."He has developed more than fifty presentation and communication training programs ranging in length from one hour to three days that serve as the basis for The Rule the Room Method. In 2014-2019 he was named #1 Best Selling coach on Public Speaking for his on-demand video teaching tools that quickly took off for over 1,000,000 online students around the world.Teteak has flipped the model and changed the approach to great Public Speaking for even the most seasoned veterans."Jason Teteak's Viral "Killer Presentation Opener" YouTube video has Over 5 million views.
