On 70 CDs KARAJAN THE OPERA RECORDINGS features the 14 operas Karajan recorded for DGG from Carmen to Parsifal, from The Merry Widow to Rosenkavalier, from Mozart to Puccini. And, of course, the complete Ring.
Incorporated are Karajans 8 opera recordings for DECCA (+ Verdis Falstaff that was originally released on Philips), as well as 5 live recordings from the Salzburg Festival, including, as bonus, Haydns The Creation.
