This course has 31 hours of video lecture to prepare you for a passing score of at least 145 on the mathematical reasoning portion. This course will only go over the mathematical reasoning portion. This course is broken down into three sections: practice math exercises, practice math exams, and supplementary videos.
The
GED test (General Educational Development test) is
a group of four subject exams that certify academic knowledge equivalent to a traditional high school diploma.
What the Test Covers
The GED exam is split into four modular subjects that you can take all at once or one at a time:
Mathematical Reasoning: Basic math, geometry, algebra, and graphs (115 minutes).
Reasoning Through Language Arts: Reading comprehension, grammar, and an extended writing response (150 minutes).
Science: Life science, physical science, and Earth and space science (90 minutes).
Social Studies: U.S. history, geography, economics, and government (70 minutes)
Note: this course will only go over the mathematical reasoning portion.
Scoring and Value
Passing Score: You need a score of at least 145 points on each of the four subtests to pass. A score of 165 or higher shows college readiness.
Recognition: Passing the tests earns you a high school equivalency credential, which is accepted by nearly all U.S. colleges, universities, and employers in place of a standard high school diploma.
Format: The test is delivered on a computer at an official GED test center or via online proctoring in most states.
