Biete euch hier, neben meiner kommerziellen Font Sammlung, die aktuellsten Versionen aller Programme an! Zusätzlich dazu als Bonus den, meiner Meinung nach, besten Font Manager FontExpert von Proxima Software (sind seit 1991 dabei). Habe viele getestet, darunter Font Fitting Room, FontNavigator, Myfonts FontManager, Serif FontManager, Typograf usw., FontExpert ist den anderen auf vielen Ebenen überlegen. Jedenfalls ist FontLab DIE Referenz bei Gestaltung, Bearbeitung & Konvertierung von Schriftarten, d.h. mit ihrer Software ist man für alle Eventualitäten gerüstet. Ich persönlich kann nicht mehr ohne, auch weil es kaum bis gar keine wirklich guten Alternativen gibt. Firmen wie Adobe, Apple, Bitstream, IBM, Linotype, Microsoft, Monotype und viele mehr (wenn nicht alle) nutzen Software von FontLab um ihre eigenen Schriften damit zu gestalten u.ä.!

Alle Schriften sind handverlesen nach Besitzer/Hersteller/Grafiker geordnet, besitzen jeweils ihren eigenen Ordner und sind nicht extra gepackt o.Ä.
Lässt sich hervorragend mir FontExpert auslesen und verwenden. Zusätzlich sind ein paar kostenlose Schriften dabei, die von mir irgendwann
einmal verwendet und/oder angesammelt wurden (Pixel Fonts bspw.).
Am besten man liest die gesamte Sammlung mit FontExpert ein und sucht dann einfach nach der Wunschschrift. Manche Schriften sind über mehrere Foundries verteilt, d.h. Futura wurde eben auch von mehreren veröffentlicht. Das sind dann auch anderen Daten oder unterscheiden sich teils sogar minimal voneinander, obwohl es die selbe Schriftfamilie bzw. der selbe Schnitt ist. Dann sind manche Schnitte einer Familie nur von einem zu finden, ein anderer Schnitt davon dann wieder woanders usw. Deshalb kann ich nur die Suche ans Herz legen, sonst sucht ihr euch u.U. einen Wolf. Es geht aber auch sehr gut mit FontExpert durch alle Schriften zu stöbern und einfach auszuwählen, was man halt gerade braucht! installierte Schriften sollten sofort in CorelDRAW, PS & Co. wählbar sein usw.

Kurzbeschreibung:
Umfangreiche Schriftensammlungen neigen schnell dazu, in Unordnung zu geraten. FontExpert sorgt hier für Übersicht über True- und OpenType sowie PostScript- und Bitmap-Schriften. Dank der Vorschaufunktion identifiziert man schnell doppelt vorhandene Zeichensätze. Außerdem ordnet der Verwalter die Fonts ihrer sprachlichen Herkunft zu. Auf einen Blick unterschiedet man lateinische von hebräischen oder arabischen Alphabeten und erkennt Symbolschriften.
Seine Stärken spielt FontExpert beim Organisieren umfangreicher Schriftsammlungen aus. Ohne großen Aufwand erstellt der Anwender Bibliotheken mit ausgewählten Typen oder deaktiviert beziehungsweise deinstalliert nicht benötigte Schriften. Besondere Gimmicks hält der Schiftenexperte für Grafiker bereit.
Zum einen zeigt FontExpert Kerningpaare an, falls die gewählte Typo solche enthält, ein Feature, welches man sonst nur bei Profi-Tools wie Adobe InDesign oder QuarkXpress vorfindet und eine Aussage zur Qualität des Fonts erlaubt. Zum anderen kopiert das Tool einzelne Zeichen als Grafiken verschiedener Formate. Hier steht sogar eine Variante zur Auswahl, welche Vektoren mitsamt Ziehpunkten erzeugt, die sich in Zeichenprogrammen wie Adobe Illustrator einfügen und weiter bearbeiten lassen.
