In this way beeswax is directly linked to the natural environment. You will be contributing to the natural environment by using this wax because you will be supporting beekeeping. Bees and beekeeping are important to us humans as bees pollinate one third of the food that we eat!
In this course I show you how to use this amazing natural product, beeswax to make your own candles. You can use these candles in your own home or give them as gifts to friends and family. You can also start your own small business making and selling beautiful beeswax candles. You don't need to be a beekeeper - you just need a source of beeswax. The course will also direct you to sources of beeswax.
Everyone needs a side hustle these days and beeswax candles could be yours! If you enjoy working with your hands you will enjoy making candles.

Im Laufe meiner Karriere war ich an unzähligen Übernahmen, Fusionen und Unternehmenskäufen beteiligt. Dabei habe ich sehr viele Finanzmodelle erstellt, welche die Basis waren für die Verhandlung der Konditionen der Transaktionen. Professionelle Finanzmodelle waren daher ein sehr wichtiges Tool für meine Arbeit.
Darüber hinaus war ich im Frankfurter Büro dafür zuständig, die jungen Kollegen zu unterrichten, nicht nur in der Erstellung von integrierten Finanzmodellen.
In meiner späteren Karriere war ich auch bei einer großen deutschen Unternehmensberatung beschäftigt und dort ebenfalls intern als Trainer für Finanzen zuständig für die Ausbildung meiner Kollegen (sowohl seniore Kollegen als auch Berufseinsteiger). Ein Teil meiner Trainingsaktivitäten war auch die Vermittlung des Wissens um die Erstellung von Finanzmodellen.

If you last drew something in kindergarten - that's just fine! Starting from the basic and building it up slowly
Enthusiasm and willingness to take out time and practice and a keen eye to observe
Art materials: Pencils - namely 2B or else HB is fine. The rest of the darker pencils of 4B, 6B, 8B and 10b can follow along during the course, but shouldn't stop you from enrolling right away
Sketchbook or any found paper, you can even use the reverse side of used computer sheets.
If you have watercoloured pencil or soft pastel - that would be great in one section to understand how blending works with colours after deeply understanding blending with pencils

We all have been sketching or scribbling since we were little, and probably know how to pick up the pencil. But do you know how to hold it? What makes some strokes dark, some light? Is it only with special kind of pencils?Starting from the very basic of making lines, bringing out different shapes and then towards realistic objects followed by nature, let's build it up little by little. We will be understanding how light plays an important role in adding to the realistic shapes, tones and on how to hold the pencil, what type of pencil and its pressure techniques.If you already have a good idea on drawing but not getting the shading and gradation with the pencil, then this course will help you along your artistic practice.We will start with making lines and understanding how pencils can vary but sometimes one pencil if gripped right, can do all the magic. We'll work with shapes and alongside jump right at it by shading them by placing imaginary light from different angles. There are many directions in which the pencil moves during the shading process and that's what we'll go deeper into. This will be followed by an overview on perspective drawing, everyday objects, portrait drawing and then towards nature and landscape followed by an introduction to blending in colours.By understanding pencil shading and lighter and darker tones, there is an extra section with an introduction to colours - namely water colour pencils and soft pastels. I will be available throughout the course and will be responding to any queries that go along the way. It's an interactive course where you can work alongside and keep pausing and moving along with the pencil towards many striking strokes and adding depth and richness to your drawings.

Geomorphology is the study of landforms and their processes, forms, and sediments at the surface of the Earth (and sometimes on other planets). Studying includes looking at landscapes to work out how the earth's surface processes, such as air, water, and ice, can mould the landscape. Landforms are produced by erosion or deposition, as rock and sediment are worn away by these earth-surface processes and transported and deposited to different localities. The different climatic environments produce different suites of landforms. The landforms of deserts, such as sand dunes and ergs, are a world apart from the glacial and periglacial features found in polar and sub-polar regions. Geomorphologists map the distribution of these landforms so as to better understand their occurrence.
Earth-surface processes are forming landforms today, changing the landscape, albeit often very slowly. Most geomorphic processes operate at a slow rate, but sometimes a large event, such as a landslide or flood, occurs, causing rapid change to the environment and sometimes threatening humans. So, geological hazards, such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, and landslides, fall within the interests of geomorphologists. Advancements in remote sensing from satellites and GIS mapping have benefited geomorphologists greatly over the past few decades, allowing them to understand global distributions.
Geomorphologists are also "landscape-detectives," working out the history of a landscape. Most environments, such as Britain and Ireland, have in the past been glaciated on numerous occasions, tens of thousands of years ago. These glaciations have left their mark on the landscape, such as the steep-sided valleys in the Lake District and the drumlin fields of central Ireland. By studying the remaining landforms and the sediments, geomorphologists can piece together the history of such places by studying the particles and the organic material, such as pollen, beetles, diatoms, and macrofossils preserved in lake sediments and peat, can provide evidence of past climate change and processes.
So geomorphology is a diverse discipline. Although the basic geomorphological principles can be applied to all environments, geomorphologists tend to specialise in one or two areas, such as aeolian (desert) geomorphology, glacial and periglacial geomorphology, volcanic and tectonic geomorphology, and even planetary geomorphology. Most research is multi-disciplinary, combining the knowledge and perspectives from two contrasting disciplines, combining subjects as diverse as ecology, geology, civil engineering, hydrology, and soil science.
