Description
***Course has now been updated for .Net Core 3.0***

Have you learnt the basics of ASP.NET Core and React? Not sure where to go next? This course should be able to help with that. In this course we learn how to build a multi-project ASP.NET Core solution that is built using Clean Architecture and the CQRS and Mediator pattern that makes our code easy to understand, reason about and extend.

Both ASP.NET Core and React are hot topics and this course will enhance your knowledge of both, simply by building an application from start to finish. In each module we learn something new, whilst incrementally adding features to the application. Building an application is significantly more rewarding than building yet another Todo List from the documentation!

Every line of code is demonstrated and explained and by the end of this course you will have the skills and knowledge to build your own application using the techniques taught in this course.

Here are some of the things you will learn about in this course:

Setting up the developer environment

Creating a multi-project solution using the the ASP.NET Core WebAPI and the React app using the DotNet CLI and the create-react-app utility.

Clean Architecture and the CQRS + Mediator pattern

Setting up and configuring ASP.NET Core identity for authentication

Using React with Typescript

Adding a Client side login and register function to our React application

Using React Router

Using AutoMapper in ASP.NET Core

Building a great looking UI using Semantic UI

Adding Photo Upload widget and creating user profile pages

Using React Final Form to create re-usable form inputs with validation

Paging, Sorting and Filtering

Using SignalR to enable real time web communication to a chat feature in our app

Publishing the application to both IIS and Linux

Getting an 'A' rating for security from a well known security scanning site.

Many more things as well

Tools you need for this course

In this course all the lessons are demonstrated using Visual Studio Code, a free (and fantastic) cross platform code editor. You can of course use any code editor you like and any Operating system you like... as long as it's Windows, Linux or Mac

Is this course for you?

This course is very practical, about 90%+ of the lessons will involve you coding along with me on this project. If you are the type of person who gets the most out of learning by doing, then this course is definitely for you.

On this course we will build an example social network application that allows users to sign up to events (similar to MeetUp or Facebook), completely from scratch. All we start with is an empty terminal window or command prompt.

All you will need to get started is a computer with your favourite operating system, and a passion for learning how to build an application using ASP.NET Core and React

Who this course is for:
Beginners to .Net Core or React or Typescript who want to learn how to build something with these tools
Students who prefer the practical approach to learning rather than learning by theory

AC Electronics - Basics of Resonant Circuits
Genre: eLearning | MP4 | Video: h264, 1280x720 | Audio: aac, 44100 Hz
Language: English | VTT | Size: 5.04 GB | Duration: 7 section | 26 lectures | (7h 48m)

What you'll learn
How to calculate impedance, reactance and resonant frequency in series LC circuits
How to calculate impedance, reactance and resonant frequency in parallel LC circuits
How to draw general resonance curve of RCL circuits

Requirements
All the courses in the electronics learning track on Great IT Courses before this course (Basics of AC and DC electronics)
Find out how to access the learning track in the description.

Description
The course used as an individual module will provide you with the following:

Calculation and Understanding Reactance, Impedance and Resonance in Series RCL Circuits

Calculation and Understanding Reactance, Impedance and Resonance in Parallel RCL Circuits

Calculation and Understanding Bandwidth and Quality Factor in Parallel and Series RCL Circuits

Drawing the General Resonance Curve of RCL Circuits

The course used in conjunction with all the accompanying courses in the series coming before and after it (see the series on greatitcourses website - the same name with com in the end) will enable you to have a solid and practical understanding of AC and DC electronics and to be able to design fairly advanced electronics circuits consisting of transistors, resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, having AC or DC power sources. Those circuits could be amplifiers, filters, power supply systems, etc. You would also be able to do all the necessary calculations related to such circuits yourself.

One important characteristic of this course is that it allows you to avoid the unnecessary theory that would never be used practically in electronics while including all the practical important theory, thereby saving you a lot of time in the process.

The main characteristics of this series are as follows:

The series omits all the theory that you are not going to use in your work anyway, assuming that you don't want to do anything very complicated in electronics, for example design a full-fledged frequency counter, but you still want to be able to design and build fairly complicated circuits like amplifiers, filters, etc.

You will be able to do all the necessary calculations related to your own designs.

You will have all the practical skills to work with different pieces of test equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.

You will be provided with useful end of course exercises that will solidify your learning.

In short, the series will teach you the tricks of the trade. It will teach you practical electronics in a relatively short amount of time.

To course code for this course is "23". You can use the code to refer to this course in your communication with us.

Who this course is for:
Anybody wanting to have the necessary theory and practical understanding about resonant circuits

Description
Want to learn how to build professional, dynamic, institutional-quality commercial real estate pro forma models from scratch for office, retail, and industrial properties in Microsoft Excel?

This course will take you by the hand and walk you step-by-step through the entire process of building a complete, dynamic, eight-tab commercial real estate pro forma model, starting with a blank Excel workbook ending with a complete commercial real estate pro forma acquisition model that YOU'VE created, from scratch.

When I was first learning real estate financial modeling, I would download real estate investment models or real estate investment calculators on the internet, only to feel overwhelmed and frustrated by the complex functions and formulas everywhere in the Excel file. And once I felt like I was getting used to one of these things, I still was petrified to touch or change anything because I didn't want to "break" the model. And honestly, even if I understood it and I believed the model was working correctly, I still had no idea if I could even trust the calculations in the first place.

If you've ever felt any of these things, this course will pull back the curtain and uncover the "Black Box" that most real estate financial models appear to be. By the end of this course, you'll be able to build a dynamic, professional-quality commercial real estate pro forma model from scratch, and by the time you finish the last lecture, you'll have an institutional-quality model that you've built from start to finish.

This course will teach you how to build a commercial real estate pro forma investment model the way the largest and most sophisticated private equity real estate firms look at deals. At the end of this course, you will be able to:

Build an institutional-quality, dynamic commercial real estate pro forma investment model for office, retail, and industrial properties from scratch (without expensive software)

Model advanced real estate financing structures like mezzanine debt, future funding for renovation projects, prepayment penalties, dynamic loan sizing based on multiple constraints, and more.

Create a dynamic sources and uses table that tracks equity investments throughout the project, so you'll know exactly how much you'll need to fund a deal up-front

Build dynamic working capital accounts to automatically fund operating shortfalls to prevent unexpected equity "capital calls" to investors

Model complex commercial real estate lease structures in Excel including NNN, FSG, MG, and BYS reimbursement structures, custom rent escalation schedules, percentage rent, and more

Create dynamic re-leasing scenarios based on renewal probability and re-leasing assumptions to create future lease cash flows on autopilot

Model investor distributions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and be able to switch between the three options quickly and easily

Create custom charts and graphs that automatically populate in your model, that you can use to present more clearly and professionally to investors, lenders, and partners

Build formula "checks" to error-proof your work and feel confident your calculations are accurate and can be trusted

This course is perfect for you if:

You're a college student or graduate student looking to break into real estate investment after graduation, and you're looking to add the key technical skill sets to your arsenal that will put you head and shoulders above the competition and allow you to land a lucrative career opportunity in the field

You're an existing real estate professional looking to advance your career, increase your compensation, and break into the real estate investment industry.

You've have a basic understanding of real estate finance and financial modeling, and you're looking to take your real estate financial modeling skill set to an expert level to land a better job, make more money, or do more profitable real estate deals.

Here's what our students have had to say:

★★★★★ "This course really has it all. I model deals for experienced private equity real estate investors, and the principals I work for had never used a proforma as dynamic, versatile, and visually appealing as this model. If you need to analyze a commercial deal you should absolutely take the time to work through this course. Thanks, Justin! Already looking forward to the next course."
