TGC - Thinking about Cybersecurity: From Cyber Crime to Cyber Warfare
Professor Paul Rosenzweig, JD | Video: WMV Video 640x360 | Audio: wmv3 44KHz | Duration: 09:41 H/M | Lec: 18 - Average 32 minutes each | 7.92 GB | Language: English + Guidebook

This Course is your guide to understanding the intricate nature of this pressing subject. Delivered by cybersecurity expert and professor Paul Rosenzweig of The George Washington University Law School

Description
There are billions of Internet users connected to one another, and every minute, these parties create mind-boggling amounts of new information and data. Yet because cyberspace is so vast, flexible, and unregulated (and because it grows in leaps and bounds every year), all these users are highly vulnerable to dangers from cyber criminals, rogue nation-states, and other outside forces.

Just how important an issue is cybersecurity? Consider these points:

Every minute, individuals and organizations hack multiple websites around the world.
Each year, experts discover millions of new pieces of malware designed to illegally tamper with computer systems.
Yearly, cyber crime leads to astounding global monetary losses of billions and billions of dollars.
In just a single year, millions of people will find themselves the victims of cyber identity fraud.
Public policymakers and technology experts agree: Cybersecurity and the issues associated with it will affect everyone on the planet in some way. That means the more you know about this hot-button topic, the better prepared you'll be to protect yourself, to weigh in on the political and ethical issues involved, and to understand new threats (and new solutions) as they emerge.

Thinking about Cybersecurity: From Cyber Crime to Cyber Warfare is your guide to understanding the intricate nature of this pressing subject. Delivered by cybersecurity expert and professor Paul Rosenzweig of The George Washington University Law School, these 18 engaging lectures will open your eyes to the structure of the Internet, the unique dangers it breeds, and the ways we're learning how to understand, manage, and reduce these dangers. Combining an expert lecturer with a fascinating topic, this course is a riveting learning experience that immerses you in the invisible world of codes, computer viruses, and digital espionage, and offers an enthralling look at the high-stakes battles of tomorrow.

Explore the Range of Cyber Threats Out There
Thinking about Cybersecurity is laid out in a clear, systematic fashion so that you never feel overwhelmed by a topic that can seem mindboggling. Professor Rosenzweig starts by giving you a solid foundation of how the Internet and cyberspace are built, why cyber systems work the way they do, and how technical experts and scientists have attempted to "map" them out.

From there, you'll take a comprehensive look at the different types of viruses and vulnerabilities infecting the cyber domain and interfering with both technology and the real aspects of life that technology supports. You'll explore an entire cyber arsenal of threats both large and small, including:

spiders, automated programs that crawl around the Internet and harvest personal data;
keystroke loggers, programs that actually capture the keystrokes entered on a computer's keyboard; and
advanced persistent threats, which intrude into computer systems for long periods of time and make computers vulnerable to continuous monitoring.

TGC - The Art of Storytelling: From Parents to Professionals

TGC - The Art of Storytelling: From Parents to Professionals
Instructor Hannah B. Harvey, Ph.D. | Video: WMV Video 640x360 | Audio: wmv3 44KHz | Duration: 12:33 H/M | Lec: 24 - Average 30 minutes each | 10.7 GB | Language: English + Guidebook

anyone who wants to understand the power of stories to capture hearts and minds will benefit from the lessons presented in this course.

Description
The oral storytelling tradition is as old as language itself. Throughout history, stories have primarily existed in the verbal realm, preserving and passing knowledge across generations before being canonized in print. This was true of the ancient epics, and it's true today. Your family history, your company's history, the stories you tell that define and shape your identity-these are all stored in your mind and shared through your actions and words.

And being a gifted storyteller has its advantages: A well-crafted narrative can keep the people, values, and life lessons you hold dear alive and give you the power to influence your children, your employees, and others.

There are many reasons we relate and respond to stories. We're often drawn to

what or whom the story represents;
how the story reflects a core part of who we are (or who we want to be); and
what the story could be-because we don't like the reality of what the story is.
So how do you tell stories that stick-in your own mind and in the minds of your family, friends, colleagues, and clients?

That's precisely what you'll learn in The Art of Storytelling: From Parents to Professionals, an enthralling course that reveals the tried-and-true methods experienced storytellers use to develop and tell engaging, entertaining, and memorable tales. In 24 lectures, Professor Hannah B. Harvey demonstrates how to master the art form's basic principles with the same witty, dynamic energy that has made her an internationally recognized professional storyteller and award-winning educator.

Even if you never plan to set foot on a stage, knowing what a professional storyteller does in the process of crafting and delivering a tale allows you to enhance the stories you tell everyday-to your children at bedtime, in your conversational anecdotes, and in your presentations at work. Teachers, lawyers, clergy, coaches, parents, and anyone who wants to understand the power of stories to capture hearts and minds will benefit from the lessons presented in this course.

Writing great fiction isn't a gift reserved for the talented few. There is a craft to storytelling that can be learned

Description
Writing great fiction isn't a gift reserved for the talented few. There is a craft to storytelling that can be learned, and studying the fiction writer's techniques can be incredibly rewarding-both personally and professionally. Even if you don't have ambitions of penning the next Moby-Dick, you'll find value in exploring all the elements of great fiction.

From evoking a scene to charting a plot to selecting a point of view, Writing Great Fiction: Storytelling Tips and Techniques offers a master class in storytelling. Taught by acclaimed novelist James Hynes, a former visiting professor at the famed Iowa Writers' Workshop and the University of Michigan, these 24 insightful lectures show you the ins and outs of the fiction writer's craft.

More than just delivering lectures, Professor Hynes offers the first steps of an apprenticeship, showing you not only how fiction works but also how to read like a writer. Here you'll find explications of novels and stories across the ages:

Rediscover classics such as Jane Eyre, Bleak House, Middlemarch, Mrs. Dalloway, and others.
Gain new insights into bestsellers such as the Harry Potter and Game of Thrones series.
Explore the world of literary fiction, from Chekhov's "The Kiss" to Marilynne Robinson's Housekeeping.
Reflect on what makes characters such as Anna Karenina and Sherlock Holmes so memorable.
Find out how to create suspense like Dashiell Hammett, George Pelecanos, and John le Carré.
In addition to showing you how the elements of fiction work, this course is an interactive toolkit. Professor Hynes closes each lecture with an exercise to get your creative juices flowing. Only you know what story you want to tell, but the many examples and writing prompts in these lectures will get you from thinking about writing to the act of writing-often the toughest part of any project.

We All Need a Proven, Predictable System That Ensures Our Ads Sustainable Work Everyday So We Can Scale Our Business
The "Code of Conversions" is that proven system...

It took years for me to 'hack' and develop 'social media copywriting' as I now know it today.
Every other "Copywriting" is based on 'traditional direct response' schools of thought that originated from a 'Long Salesletter' that you found in your mailbox...
...yet why does everyone try 'fit a square peg into a round hole' by applying that same method on social media when it's fundamentally different?

After spending over 2 million in Facebook ads over the last few years I have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that our new methodology works better than any 'traditional direct response' techniques or gimmicks...
...in fact those 'old, tried and true' methods are failing at an even faster rate than ever before. Sure some of the 'concepts' still apply...
However even those concepts are "Translated Differently" than they were before
New Platforms, New Rules. Facebook and Instagram are here to stay.
Once you go through the first lesson "The Social Rules of Engagement" you'll see the glaring difference between the 'old and the new'...
