.MP4, AVC, 480 kbps, 1280x720 | English, AAC, 96 kbps, 2 Ch | 3h 5m | 638 MB
Instructor: Bernd Bausch

You have created an OpenStack cloud, set up networks, and launched servers on them. In this second stage of your journey to OpenStack mastery and RHCSA/OpenStack certification, you will work with storage and create an autoscaling application.
This is the second step towards RHCSA/OpenStack certification, or a way for you to simply master in using and managing OpenStack clouds. The first step showed you how to create networks in an OpenStack cloud and run, configure, and manage virtual servers. In this course, RHCSA for Red Hat OpenStack - Using OpenStack (Storage and Orchestration), you will complete the acquisition of user-level skills required for obtaining the certificate. First, you will learn how to create and manage storage volumes, attach them to virtual servers, and boot servers from them. Next, you will explore OpenStack's object storage service: Swift. Finally, you will discover how OpenStack's telemetry and orchestration services work together to allow the creation of self-scaling cloud applications. When you are finished with this course, you will have the skills to use an OpenStack cloud.

Azure Event Grid
MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 44KHz 2ch | Duration: 38M | 80 MB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Azure Event Grid is a fully managed, intelligent event-routing service that allows for uniform and efficient event consumption using a publish-subscribe model. An alternative to expensive polling, Event Grid allows your services to talk to each other more efficiently and securely. This course demonstrates how to react to relevant events across Azure in near real-time fashion. Get an overview of Event Grid, and learn how it compares to other routing services: Service Bus, Event Hubs, and Queue Storage. Review the security features, and see how Event Grid handles message delivery when it doesn't get a response from an endpoint. Instructor Sahil Malik then demonstrates a practical use case for the technology, using Event Grid to react to Azure Blog Storage events.

Practitioner's Perspective on the Enterprise Data Model
MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 44KHz 2ch | Duration: 37M | 845 MB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

This panel was recorded live at Data Modeling Zone ( Panelists include William Donlin (Progressive Insurance), Sally Greenwood (TDS Telecom), Ivan Schotsmans (BI-Community), Brad Steinke (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension), and Missy Wittmann (American Family)

An Enterprise Data Model (EDM) provides a precise and consistent representation of an organization's information. Although the EDM offers incredible value to an organization, it also takes incredible effort to build and maintain. Approaches such as Agile can run counter to Big Design Up Front (BDUF) deliverables such as the EDM, often causing contention between Project and Program priorities. This panel will cover the practicalities of building and maintaining an EDM, as well as its perceived and actual benefits.
