Create stunning web pages with intricate designs for mobiles and the web using Bootstrap.
About This Video

Combine Bootstrap with third-party plugins and external code to create your own personalized themes and templates instead of using one from the web
Create advanced web page designs that are mobile-friendly using applied tools and best practices
Implement Bootstrap 4's newest components and migrate your existing project to the current version.

Bootstrap discards the myth of "the creative type" and enforces the belief that even you are capable of design. It is easy to learn, open source, customizable, and coupled with an incredible support from the community; in short it is truly worth your time! This course walks you through the fascinating arena of web development, giving you a grid-based framework that's easy to work on and saves the time that goes into CSS framework development.

You will see how to create a "PACKT CMS' application, which will have a custom CMS layout with amazing real-time features. This will enable PACKT to create new courses, and users to view all the data in an advanced table format and get a dashboard overview of all the courses, views, subscriptions, and so on.

We'll start with a dedicated video that explains the intricacies of the different components in our application, including hacks and gotchas to master bootstrap code. We will spice up our application by using Bootstrap JavaScript plugins such as modals, tooltips, popovers, alerts, and tabs. We will also use third-party JavaScript plugins for various elements you'll be relying on day to day.

You'll find out how to migrate your existing application to Bootstrap 4 seamlessly. You'll add the newly introduced components from Bootstrap 4 in your current application and see what's changed from Bootstrap 3. This course takes you from zero to hero, leaving you with the know-how required to build your own real-world project.

This course provides you with opportunities to integrate and apply your information security knowledge. Following the case-study approach, you will be introduced to current, real-world cases developed and presented by the practitioner community. You will design and execute information assurance strategies to solve these cases. Many of you will be aware of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform Coursera and the great content they offer. Among many other interesting online courses they occasionally run courses relevant to Information Security and while not all of them are worthwhile i'd like to highlight one in particular.

The 'Designing and Executing Information Security Strategies' course led by Mike Simon (University of Washington) provides a great no nonsense, non technical glimpse into the real world of Information Security practitioners. It does not get hung up on theoretical issues but focuses on real challenges and scenarios from Mike's experience in the field. Obviously it is not 'Zero to Hero' Information Security professional course but it is a good introduction particularly to those who are not overly familiar with Information Security and like to know what all the fuss is about.

Get started with the complete React development stack.
Web development is evolving fast and developers need to know a much greater variety of technologies than they did historically. Whilst in the past you could specialize in a single area, such as client-side development, modern web developers are expected to have an understanding of all areas and how they fit together. This 360-degree approach is known as full-stack web development-a bundling of core technologies on the client- and server-side that provide an end-to-end web development solution.

This video course covers the fundamentals of the full set of technologies that you need to know in order to become a React full-stack web developer. By the end of this course, you will know how to work with: React, NPM, Node.JS, Express.JS, JSX, Babel, and MongoDB. React is currently one of the hottest technologies in web development, and this course will teach you all that you need to know to start using it confidently.

Through this course, you will become familiar with the full set of core technologies behind modern full-stack development using React, and you will learn the skills required to become competent and comfortable in all these environments. This course assumes you know JavaScript but does not assume you know any other technology. This title is the "Critical mass", the one course that will open your eyes into the world of full-stack development.
