Building a Pre-Launch Campaign for Marketers
MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 44KHz 2ch | Duration: 2.5 Hours | Lec: 37 | 5.15 GB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Your guide to understanding communities, email lists, press relations, and analytics for the best pre-launch ever!

How do you grow an audience before launching a product?

What is the best way to get press attention for your product or feature?

What are some of the ways to automate content today?

How do you build communities to spur growth in sales and users?

These are the problems that can be solved when you take my course "Building a Pre-Launch Marketing Strategy". I have designed the course in a way that shows you step by step guides in getting that email list or building something valuable to customers before you launch into the market.

Some of the key lessons I teach that are vital for your success are the use of communities, email lists, press relations, survey forms, and analytics. I believe a combination of these will help generate a fantastic launch for your product and build market awareness.

So why should you learn about the key lessons I mention. I have used the above techniques to bring thousands of users to my app for Webeam. By building a prelaunch mailing list, I was able to gather feedback earlier on for the product. When I built my Slack community, I had hundreds of users try the beta application before it was ready for the market. When I contacted press, I made sure they did the least amount of work by giving them a press package. Lastly, I measured each channel through analytics that helped me analyze what was working and what wasn't working. That's why it is important to have a pre-launch strategy.

This course contains over 37 lectures and 1.5 hrs of content. It's designed for beginners to become excellent marketers of their own products.

Course Structure

The course follows a familiar structure where in each video I will teach the concepts followed by the student applying the concepts practically. If your goal is to become a better marketer, you should understand the tools in the videos. Today's marketers and entrepreneurs are resourceful which is what I teach in the courses.

Environment Setup

This course aims to simulate a live in-person course as much as possible. After you finish each lecture, you should practice and try the solution on your own. You learn the best by practicing and doing.

Projects

At the end of each section, you will be asked to complete a project, which you will then share with your network or the Udemy network.

Lynda - Building APIs in PHP Using the Silex Micro Framework
Duration: 1h 44m | Video: AVC (.mp4) 1280x720 15&30fps | Audio: AAC 48KHz 2ch | 242 MB
Genre: eLearning | Level: Beginner | Language: English]

A well-designed API includes not just URLs and response codes but also authentication, consistent structures, and useful JSON payloads. Luckily, the Silex micro framework makes it easy to move an API from concept to implementation to production. What used to take weeks or even months can usually be done in hours or days with Silex. This course begins with a simple application specification and builds it one step at a time. Each chapter includes a key concept, with examples from other public APIs, and then shows how to build it yourself with Silex. Learn about URL routing, validating input, and generating response codes and hypermedia payloads. Like any project, the first implementation may be a little messy, but don't worry. The last chapter covers refactoring and what it takes to scale and support the API going forward.

Topics include:
* Understanding the project goals
* Adding authentication with Silex
* Using cross-framework and authentication middleware
* Creating a read-write API in Silex
* Uploading files via an API
* Adding file security
* Creating payloads and response codes in Silex
* Scaling your API

Business Plan through investors' eyes
.MP4, AVC, 1000 kbps, 1280x720 | English, AAC, 64 kbps, 2 Ch | 4.5 hours | 1.71 GB
Instructor: Dr. Yoram Solomon

Learn how to write and present a business plan in a way that will get it funded from a serial entrepreneur and investor

Let me guess what brings you here: you have an idea, and you need an investment for a startup company. Or you work for a large company and want to get budget for your new project. Or you want to start a small business and you need a small business loan from the bank. You are here because you are afraid to fail when you present your business plan. Most people do.

Am I close?

If so-you came to the right place.

I founded several startup companies, wrote many business plans that raised tens of millions of dollars in investments, and got projects funded in large companies. I sold a company, and even bought a company. I wrote books about it, and taught this in universities.

But more important, I am an investor, and was part of several angel investor networks from Silicon Valley to Texas and Israel, where I made personal investments in startups. I also evaluated business plans for the State of Texas, and the State of Israel, and made project funding decisions in large and public companies.

As such, I only have a few minutes to snap-judge a business plan that comes across my desk. I will share with you what makes me (and other investors) stop, and decide whether to invest in a new business or not.

In this course you will learn the four rules of a successful business plan:

Create something fundamentally different,
Find the unique value to a specific market segment,
Establish and maintain competitive advantage, and-
Calculate the return on investment for your customer, your company, and your investor.
I will teach you how to assess your business, create the business plan, and present it to investors. I will do that with:

33 lectures (over 4 hours);
22 worksheets that will allow you to build your own business plan, step by step;
6 quizzes that will help you internalize the content;
Personal examples; and-
An Israeli accent...

At the end of this course, you will have an inside track on how investors and budget managers think, what are they looking for in a business plan, and what will make them invest in you!

I will teach you what I know now, but wish I knew when I created and presented my first business plan.

Are you ready to learn this? Enroll in this class, or try the free preview. Now, let's get you funded!

What are the requirements?

Basic finance (income, expense, profit)
Basic economics (supply and demand)

What am I going to get from this course?

Over 33 lectures and 4.5 hours of content!
Create and Present a business plan that investors will invest in.
Understand how investors read and listen to business plan
Understand when investors decide to invest in a company, and why they choose not to
Understand the four elements of a successful business plan
Determine whether an idea you have for a product, service, process, or business model will be successful as a business
Create the right set of documents for a business plan, and a presentation of it
Identify a sustainable competitive advantage for your business, and how to maintain it over time
Analyze Return on Investment (ROI) for the customer, company, and investors
This course will NOT teach business finance. It is assumed that you understand the basics of revenue, cost, operating expenses, and net profit.

Changing Body Composition through Diet and Exercise
24xHDRip | MP4/AVC, ~1492 kb/s | 1280x720 | Duration: 12:56:02 | English: AAC, 192 kb/s (2 ch) | + PDF Guide
Size: 9.12 GB | Genre: Health, Diet

If we don't like what we see in the mirror or if we're struggling to walk down to the corner store, we tend to think, "Wow, I really need to lose some weight!" But the truth is you might not need to lose weight. Are you surprised? What you really need to do is lose fat and gain muscle.

That change will make you look better, feel better, and perform better-whether your bathroom scale tells you any weight is lost in the process or not. In fact, if you focus on simply losing weight as your only metric, you could potentially lose both fat and muscle, becoming weaker instead of stronger. How's that going to help you walk a mile? If you change your body composition, you'll see and feel the results you've been looking for!

But how to get started? Should you avoid red meat and eat only carbs? Avoid carbs and focus on healthy fats? Will 500 crunches a day turn that belly fat into a "six pack?" Or should you stick to cardio three times a week? New diet and fitness plans come at us daily in the popular press, on the radio, and from a plethora of TV personalities hawking the latest supplement or sports drink. In the library and bookstore, shelf after shelf of books point us down conflicting paths toward health and fitness.

This course is different. Changing Body Composition through Diet and Exercise presents the latest scientific research in the field of performance nutrition. From the macro to the molecular, this solid, science-based information will help you understand your own body better than you ever have. Professor Michael Ormsbee, Associate Professor and Interim Director of the Institute of Sports Sciences and Medicine in the College of Human Sciences at Florida State University, clearly explains in 24 in-depth lectures:

how the food you eat is broken down and distributed to the tissues in your body
how your body uses those nutrients to produce the energy you need to function and perform
how specific nutrition and specific types of exercises can help you lose fat, gain muscle, and feel more energetic in your daily life or on the athletic field

Dr. Ormsbee is a former collegiate athlete, and current weight-lifter and triathlete whose fascination with human physiology is absolutely contagious. His easy-going style and excitement about this cutting-edge research make the technical material engaging and easy to follow. While the course provides a complete and comprehensive look at human bioenergetics and performance nutrition, each lecture is self-contained with easily accessible material. So whether you prefer the "A-Z" big-picture view or you want to start by dipping into information about supplements and set points, Changing Body Composition through Diet and Exercise will meet your needs-and help you meet your goals.

Based on his own laboratory results and those of his colleagues, Dr. Ormsbee presents diet and exercise recommendations in incremental steps that men and women of all ages and fitness levels can follow. Each lecture ends with one specific, easy-to-implement suggestion for your consideration. No gimmicks, no quick fixes, just real science.
