Extract the "Defense Grid 2" folder to wherever you like, login to Steam and start the game with
"DefenseGrid2_REVOLT.exe" or "DefenseGrid2_REVOLT.bat". Saves are stored in "%installdir%\save".
Notes:
The *.exe is a compiled copy of the *.bat file. It's 1:1 the same, but the *.exe is 100% silent.
"REVOLT.bat" is renamed to "DefenseGrid2_REVOLT.bat" and the bat-script is improved/optimized.
Original and untouched REVOLT files can be found inside the "Crack/REVOLT (Backup)" folder.
Change Language:
Open "REVOLT.ini" and change "Language = english" to russian, german, japanese, french, italian, spanish, korean, brazilian, tchinese or schinese.
Multiplayer:
In-game click on "Multiplayer with Friend" and invite your friend, who has to accept it. Now choose a map and play!
Bonus content ("BonusContent" folder) is included as follows...
- A Matter of Endurance (Audio Story)
- The Art of Defense Grid (PDF)
- The Art of Defense Grid 2 (PDF)
- The Making of Defense Grid 2 (PDF)
Crack:
The game is pre-cracked with REVOLT's multiplayer crack.
Normally there is no need to change the crack, but if you prefer CODEX (PLAZA)
or ALI213 (both singleplayer only!), take a look into the "Crack" folder.
