Extract the "Craft the World" folder to wherever you like and start the game with "CraftWorld.exe".
Change language:
In-game in the Options on the bottom left.
Modding:
The game is pre-modified with the following changes:
- German is fixed and expanded, English leftovers got translated
- English & German have 350 instead of 133 random dwarfs names
- experience expanded to 30 instead of 20 levels (total exp stays the same)
- get slightly more experience for tasks (to balance the 10 extra levels)
- Dwarves walk, climb & ladder climb speed has been raised by 20
- Dwarves carrying capacity is raised to 4 (from 3)
- Dwarves rest threshold has been raised to 50% (from 40%)
- Goblins explore distance has been reduced to 2-4 (from 3-5)
- some creatures got a little chance to drop sand, stone, coal and other materials
- 9 locked recipes got unlocked (shovel, fireplace, water, clay vase, iron helm etc.)
- some cooking recipes and also the torch and clay recipe produce a bit more
- wool, meat and skin got a chance to drop more often
- magic portal time has been raised to 900 instead of 240 seconds
- daytime has been raised to 550 (from 300) and nighttime to 250 (from 200)
- respawn time interval of fallen dwarfs has been reduced to 180 instead of 300 seconds
- respawn time frequency of fallen dwarfs has been reduced to 90 instead of 120 seconds
- mana restore time has been reduced to 90 instead of 180 seconds
To play the untouched and original version, use this patch:
- CtW_UNTOUCHED-m3Zz.exe
- CtW_MODS-m3Zz.exe (rollback to modified version)
Crack:
The game is pre-cracked with 3DM's crack.
