We could ask ourselves -Why claim a new life contract?For many of us, we move through this life journey unaware of a powerful system that is ours to tap into. We have an inner resource that serves to guide us, inform us and assist us in our day-to-day and moment-to-moment experiences.Learning how to access this inner genius and understand the signals that our energy system relays to us seems to make more sense now than ever before. Facing endless decisions every day while being bombarded by the media and the pressure to achieve and perform in a certain way, we find ourselves overwhelmed and exhausted. We release our power to choose and self-determine for ease and convenience.Our whole BodyMindBeing has collected the information that holds us captive in pathways of pain. This mechanism does not seem helpful at all but if we understand that the wiring of our human species has relied upon our learning to survive in any and every situation, then we can understand that the imprinting of these memories was vital for us to survive.When triggered the MindBodyBeing leaps into automatic default patterns of fight, flight or faint. We react without consideration and we set forth a sea of confusion into our Being as we flood the system with stress hormones that trigger our immediate reaction.This is incredibly taxing on our Being so it is no wonder then that we do whatever we can to push away the reality of our memories and past experiences that were difficult. We defend, deflect, deny, distract and destroy anything that might awaken that flood of stress in our system. We would prefer to keep distracting ourselves from facing this memory.As we learn about our Inner Compass and Inner Guiding system, we begin to gain clarity about our life and the unique journey that only we can fulfil. We take back control of our destiny as we seek to choose the life path that is more fulfilling and true to who we are.Our willingness to release our pain is the first step to gaining a new life. In our willingness, we allow for our feelings to be felt and acknowledged. And at this moment we step into the space of witness - the one who can view our own life and see it from many perspectives and vantage points. From this step, we begin to heal and all it takes is the willingness to stand still a moment and feel.
