An inertial navigation system (INS) is a navigation aid that uses a computer, motion sensors and gyroscopes to continuously calculate via dead reckoning the position, orientation, and velocity of a the aircraft without the need for external references.

it was easily the most popular inertial navigation system used before wide adoption of GPS became possible in the 90's.

The CIVA could be found on 707, 727, some 737-100s and -200s, the DC-10 and L-1011 Tristar, and on the early 747-100, -200 and -300 variants.

This CIVA has primarily been developed to be used with the 727 series of FlyJSim. It can be installed with any other aircraft.

X-Plane has long offered support for force-feedback but this depended on separate, 3rd-party software to actually communicate with the force feedback joysticks. It also only works if each individual aircraft was built to support force-feedback. Sadly, most aircraft available seem not to have this support.

This plugin adds the essential hardware support on Windows, but also bypasses the need to modify each of your aircraft files to support forces. It will use X-Plane's 'native' force support if the aircraft is built for it, but if not then the plugin will use internal calculations for forces.

The MiG-29 is a jet fighter aircraft designed by Mikoyan aircraft (Russia) for an air superiority role. The MiG-29 entered service with the Soviet Air Force in 1983, and remains in use by many other nations around the world (1600 are still in operation). The MiG-29 was developed to counter American fighters such as the F-15 Eagle and the F-16 Fighting Falcon.





The aircraft's fixed-wing profile with large wing leading-edge root extensions gives good manoeuvrability and control at subsonic speeds, including manoeuvres at high angles of attack. The MiG-29 is considered to be one of the most capable fighter of its generation and one of the best dogfight fighter in the skies.
