Victory3d - Female Character Film Pipeline
Duration: 52h 40min | Video: .MP4 1920x1080, 30 fps | Audio: AAC, 44.1 KHz, 2 channels | Size: 22.7 GB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Have you been looking for a course that shows you how to make a realistic full body character, sculpt likeness, retopologize, unwrap, texture, and render all in one place? Then look no further. This course is for you. In this course, I will take you through the process of creating a beautiful female character and make it production-ready for films and animations. The main topics we will be covering are:
-Sculpting a female character from head to toe
-Sculpting believable clothing
-Variety of retopology methods for movie characters
-Full body UDIM workflow
-Marvelous to Maya Retopology and UV creation
-Industry techniques for painting detailed textures
-Realistic skin shader, metal & cloth materials
-Creating realistic hair in Xgen
-High quality lighting and rendering using Arnold

Before starting this course, you should have a basic understanding of Zbrush, Maya, and Photoshop. No knowledge of Wrap, Marvelous Designer and Mari is needed as I will teach you the basics of these programs.

In this comprehensive course, we will begin by working on our female face and body using Zbrush. I will go over the major forms that you need to know to be able to produce a realistic female character. We will create details such as skin pores and tiny wrinkles to bring life to our character. We will learn about different ways of retopologizing our character, using automatic retopology and manual retopology using Wrap and Maya. We will generate our UV map for our character using the UDIM workflow. I will go over what UDIMs are, and why they are important when it comes to creating high resolution textures. You will learn how to simulate clothing using Marvelous Designer. We will then take our clothes in Maya to retopologize them to create a clean mesh, and then back into Zbrush to create major folds, minor folds, and memory folds. We will use Mari to hand paint our skin from scratch. I will show you exactly how to make different types of maps such as color map, specular map, and sss map step by step. We will create real world shaders such as silk, metal, and skin and we will go through the process of learning how to connect our maps properly. Then we move on to creating our hair using Zbrush and Maya. We will create our main hair using Fibermesh, then we go inside Maya to make Nhair for our braids that we will then use for our Xgen hair. We will create realistic eyebrows, eyelashes and peachfuzz all using one of the most powerful tools in Maya called Xgen. Last, I will show you how to create a nice clean render using Arnold and do some postwork in Photoshop to further enhance our image.

By the end of this course, you will be able to create your own amazing female character that is fully ready for production.

If you are ready to challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone to be a great artist, then it's time for you to sign up for this course. There are no limitations on what you can be, have or do, as you are the master of your artistic journey. Make today the day that you take action, come and join this course at Victory3D.

Blender 2.8 & More: Stylised 3D Game Model Complete Beginners Guide
MP4 | Video: AVC 1920x1080 | Audio: AAC 48KHz 2ch | Duration: 9h 39m | 5.5 GB | Language: English

Hi and welcome to this new Skillshare course, 'Stylised 3D Game Model: Complete Beginners' Guide'. This is the complete beginner's guide to creating a 3D stylised game model. This course will teach you how to create a stylised 3D model from scratch to a professional level, following industry pipelines. If you ever wondered how AAA assets are made by some of the biggest players in the industry, then stay tuned and find out what this course is all about.
Like my other Skillshare courses, I will be taking you on an extensive 3D modeling journey involving modeling, texturing, freebies, lighting and rendering a game ready 3D asset. The focus of this course is to create a stylised game model akin to what you would see in a best-selling AAA game. We will also focus on makingour model according to a real-world scale.

Enroll in this Blender 2.83 course and experience over 10 hours of content, full of learning opportunities to take your 3D modeling, sculpting, texturing, lighting and rendering skills up by quite a few notches. By completing this course, you will walk away with a comprehensive view of how to model, sculpt, texture, and render from the ground up, with a super-fast industry-standard workflow. This will include Blender 2.83, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Marmoset Toolbag 3.

'Stylised 3D Game Model: Complete Beginners' Guide' has a new learning format that will be relevant to beginners. This course is also relevant to those students who are more familiar with 3D creation and modeling using Blender software, or those who are transitioning into Blender from another piece of software or from the previous older versions of Blender.

Using everything I learned from previous courses, mainly from all your helpful feedback, I was able to make a course that really has the wow-factor; something you will be proud of accomplishing.

Modelling

This course will teach you how to model stylised assets from the ground up, using Blender 2.83. Whether you are an absolute beginner or someone who is looking to elevate their skill level, animations will be popping up when you need them, telling you all about modifiers, Blender functions, and key commands. This course explains everything and will include a step-by-step exploration of all the new shortcuts that have come with this new Blender version. Best of all, this unique course functionality also lets you set your own pace. This allows the course to be viable for Blender users of any level.

By the end of the course, the knowledge you will have learned can be used independent of the direction you take in 3D modeling - following the amateur or the professional path.

Sculpting

Next, to take our 3D model to the next level, we take a deep dive into Zbrush. You will learn various simple Zbrush techniques to bring your 3D creation to life. This course will take you through the very basics of the Zbrush UI, all the way up to preparing a model for export. What is more, you will be learning new sculpting skills, in addition to learning how to optimise your model to make it game ready.

You will learn about poly groups, zremsher and dynamesh. Through this course, you will also find out about how to import custom brushes. You will come away with the skills needed to import a basic mesh into Zbrush, and this way, you will find the sculpting section to be a breeze. Finally, I will show you how to optimise a sculpt using the decimation master so that you can come away with a clean high poly model.

Texturing

In this section, we will be using Substance Painter. Substance Painter is an industry-standard software. You will learn how to create complex stylised materials from scratch, and I will show you how to save out these materials in a smart material format so that you can use them in future models. Learning outcomes will also include finding out how to bake meshes to create perfect maps including normal and ambient occlusion. Notably, baking meshes to create perfect maps will be done without the use of cages or other software.

Rendering

Finally, to present our model in a professional way and make it really stand out in any portfolio, we will be rendering out in Marmoset Toolbag 3. We look at the best texture maps to use for rendering, and we will go over how to set up not only just one render but three, including a fully textured and wireframe turntable. You will come away with renders which you will be proud to show off on your social media. By the time we have finished rendering in Marmoset Toolbag 3, you will have the knowledge and confidence to create stylised assets that look like they fell out straight out of a game.

As part of rendering, I will show you how to make backdrops and specialised lighting, including gradients and extra lights. I always feel that lighting is one of the key components that tend to be the most overlooked. To be honest, I learned this the hard way, seeing as lighting is important with regards to making a scene pop. I have taught you how to set up your lighting in my previous course, 'Blender 2.8 Model a Lightsaber for Beginners', within Blender, but this time, we will take it a step further. All lighting including environment lighting and extra light were set up within Marmoset Toolbag 3.

Then look no further because this course is for you! Then I welcome you to Nexttut education's "Creating a Realistic Cabin House for Game in Blender" course.

INSTRUCTOR : My name is Emiel sleegers, I am a 3d environment artist working in the AAA game industry for around 7 years now. I am currently working for Ubisoft entertainment and I have worked on games like the division 2 and forza horizon 3

By the end of this course, you'll be able to Create realistic looking environments for your 3d project.

TOPICS COVERED :
Environment modeling
Making textures and Materials
Setting up in the UE4

In this intermediate course you will learn how to create and uv unwrap models in blender3d, how to create tileable material and unique textures using substance designer and substance painter and how-to setup your entire scene inside unreal engine 4. To go in more detail, we will be covering many topics in this course, We will start by diving straight into blender3d where we will be creating a blockout of our scene to define the shape and scale. We will then start with modeling our final scene using the weighted normal modeling technique and we will also unwrap all out models in the main time. Once that is done, we will take a break from modelling and start by creating all the tileable textures needed inside substance designer. Finally, we will apply those textures to our scene and export everything to unreal engine 4 where we will be setting up our scene, doing our lighting and post effects and creating our custom materials. Finally, to finish things off we will be creating some extra additional models to give the scene more life and volume, we will also be creating unique textures for these models inside substance painter.

IDEAL STUDENTS : I have designed this course for students who already have a basic understanding of the programs we are going to use. However as always, I will explain to you every step I take to get to the final result.
