Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon ist ein Action-Rollenspiel, das uns in ein fiktive, von Dämonen heimgesuchte, europäische Stadt gegen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts versetzt. Wir steuern Alushe, eine Ritterin, die ihre Freundin und Priesterin Liliana um jeden Preis beschützen möchte. Während eines Hinterhalts wird Alushe allerdings getötet, nur um wenig später als Halbdämon zu erwachen - als Gefangene der finsteren religiösen Organisation »Neue Kurie«.
