ADINA System 9.2.1

femap_slideshowewkze.jpg

ADINA R&D, Inc., a leading innovator in simulation software for solids, structures, fluids and fluid flows with structural interactions, has announced the release of the latest version of its popular ADINA System, version 9.2.1

The ADINA System offers a one-system program for comprehensive finite element analyses of structures, fluids, and fluid flows with structural interactions. The analysis capabilities range from solving simple structural, heat transfer or fluid flow problems to solving complex multiphysics problems, all using the same program system.

- Displacement and stress analysis of solids and structures
- Heat transfer analysis
- Incompressible and compressible fluid flows
- Fluid-structure interaction (FSI)
- Thermo-mechanical coupling (TMC)
- Structural-pore pressure coupling (porous media)
- Thermal-fluid-structural coupling
- Electric field-structural coupling(piezoelectric)
- Thermal-electrical coupling (Joule heating)
- Acoustic fluid-structural coupling
- Fluid flow-mass transfer coupling

The ADINA User Interface (AUI) uses the Parasolid kernel as its geometry engine. Hence, users of NX and SolidEdge can easily import their Parasolid-based geometry models (parts and assemblies) into the AUI for meshing, apply geometry-based loads and boundary conditions and perform structural, heat transfer, fluid or coupled multiphysics analysis using the ADINA System.

ADINA can also import finite element models in Nastran format and output results in the Nastran op2 format. Users of NX, I-deas and Femap can therefore build their finite element models in their pre-processor, run the analysis with ADINA and post-process the results back in their environment.

ADINA System 9.6.0 x64 | 939 MB

ADINA (Automatic Dynamic Incremental Nonlinear Analysis) - a versatile program that works on the basis of the finite element method used for linear and nonlinear engineering calculations. ADINA solves structural and thermal problems during the count, conduct multifizicheskie and electrostatic simulation. Implementation of the program in the design or manufacture of the product is the best solution for reducing the cost of manufacture of prototypes and shorten the time of testing. Modern computational methods underlying the ADINA program, distinguish it from other programs due to the accurate and reliable results for solving nonlinear problems.

The basic functionality of the package:
- Linear structural analysis
- vysokonelineynyh structural analysis
- Thermal Analysis
- Hydrodynamics
- Interaction with designs streams
NX Nastran uses the module ADINA nonlinear calculations.

The ADINA System package consists of the following modules:
ADINA Structures - module for calculating static and dynamic strength of solids and structures. The calculation can be carried out both in linear and in vysokonelineynyh formulation in view of the nonlinearity of the material, large deformation and contact.

ADINA CFD - software package for the simulation of compressible and incompressible fluid using a finite-volume and finite element discretization.
ADINA Thermal - software module for solving heat transfer problems in solids and structures.

ADINA-FSI - unit for analyzing the stream structure and interaction, with possible consideration vysokonelineynyh behavior of the material because of the large displacements, inelasticity, contact and temperature dependence.

ADINA-TMC - a software module for solving problems related to the hot-as thermal phenomena affect the strength, and vice versa.
ADINA User Interface (AUI) - pre- and postprocessing module, enabling you to create and edit geometric and finite element models and to visualize the calculation results. Compatible with all modules of the complex.

Additional modules:
ADINA Modeler (ADINA M) - embedded in AUI module that uses graphics engine and provides Parasolid solid modeling and direct interaction with other CAD-systems using Parasolid (Unigraphics, SolidWorks, Solid Edge).
TRANSOR for I-DEAS, Patran - a separate module, enabling the import into and export from ADINA ADINA data files in formats I-DEAS and MSC.Patran

ADINA System 9.6.1 x64

ADINA System 9.6.1 x64 | 404 MB | Language: English

ADINA R&D Inc., is pleased to announce the availability of ADINA System 9.6.1 is a fully integrated modular system - with a full pre and post processor, and structural, heat transfer, fluid dynamics and electromagnetics modules, forming the multi physics suite. The system is designed for full multi domain coupling based on one user interface.

ADINA 9.6.0 Release Notes - Date: June 2020
This file () lists the new and updated features that are available in ADINA System 9.6.1, as compared with ADINA System 9.5.4. There are new commands and new and changed parameters associated with the new and updated features. The release notes refer to the commands and parameters in the command-line formats.

The ADINA system has been developed in recent years into a complete system for the analysis of solid, fluid and coupled problems. Fluid flows can be modeled as Navier-Stokes incompressible, slightly compressible and fully compressible flows. They can also be modeled as porous medium flows. Structures can be modeled as 2D/3D solids, beams or shells. The response of the structure can be linear or nonlinear, and can also include contact effects. The fluid and structure can be coupled through their interface (FSI), porous media (PFSI) or thermal materials (TFSI). Both iterative and direct solution procedures can be used for solving the fully coupled system. These capabilities, together with the extensive boundary conditions and material models, and the user-friendly graphical system for pre- and post-processing (AUI), make the ADINA system a powerful tool for engineers and researchers.

ADINA is also used as the Siemens NX Nastran non-linear solvers (sol 601 and 701), and has translators for Siemens FEMAP pre and post processor if the user wishes to take advantage of FEMAP. The Siemens NX Nastran can be imported and exported from ADINA.

Proceanic's Structural Analysis Group carried out a collision analysis for a Floating, Storage, Production, and Offloading (FPSO) vessel. The analysis considered a variety of collision cases including a supply vessel colliding with the side of the FPSO (as shown in this video) and a shuttle tanker colliding with the rear of the FPSO.

ADINA R&D, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Dr. K.J. Bathe. The exclusive mission of the company is the development of the ADINA System for linear and nonlinear finite element analysis of solids and structures, heat transfer, CFD and electromagnetics. ADINA also offers a comprehensive array of multiphysics capabilities including fluid-structure interaction and thermo-mechanical coupling. Some of the nonlinear structural analysis capabilities of ADINA are offered as Solution 601/701 of NX Nastran by Siemens PLM Software.
