Woodworking classes, basic carpentry

Woodworking classes, basic carpentry
Genre: eLearning | MP4 | Video: h264, 1280x720 | Audio: aac, 48000 Hz
Language: English | VTT | Size: 5.12 GB | Duration: 4 hours

What you'll learn
basic carpentry , tools, machines...woodmaker
Carpentry
tools, machines

Requirements
no
Description
In this BASIC carpentry and joinery course, you will learn the basics of the trade, because you want to know more about wood, because you are interested in everything related to this beautiful trade, because you have only once started working in your workshop and you do not know how to continue but you want to know more or because you want to be a professional in the future.

* IN ALL MY CONSTRUCTION COURSES, I INCLUDE A TECHNICAL DRAWING OF THE FURNITURE AND AN EXPLANATION OF THE WOOD YOU NEED TO WORK WITH AND HOW TO ORDER THE WOOD AND FITTINGS. In PDF format that you can download for your workshop. SOMETHING VERY VALUABLE ...

My objective is clear, to teach you the steps to follow to develop your project and to assimilate the theory and practice of the trade.

You will see what the basic tools are and how to buy them, you will see how to start working the wood with them, how to sharpen them, their use and handling.

I will also help you to professionally set up your workshop if you such desire.

I am attaching in pdf format, a list with the basic tools to start working with and a second very complete list in case you want to set up your workshop as a professional.

Then we will study the machines that exist in the market in case you later decide to better set up your workshop.

We will also see the wood you must buy.

I am going to give you 3 fundamental exercises for carpentry-cabinetmaking.

- How to sharpen the different tools such as chisels, carving gouges, carpenter's plane, cabinetmaker's blade. Manual sharpening and mechanical sharpening.

- the carpenter's-cabinetmaker plane: there are many kinds of planes, but one can be used for almost everything. You will see the use and handling and how to get the wood squared with it.

- A basic exercise to learn how to trace with a tracing gauge and work with saws, chisels and final sanding. This way you will see all the steps to follow when doing woodwork. I add a technical drawing in pdf that you can download, from the exercise so you will learn to read a carpenter-cabinetmaker's plan.

I also add a bibliography with some inteesting books about the trade that you can buy or consult in libraries or online, so you can accompany the classes and better understand the trade.

I advise you to spend at least 3 hours a week to gradually learn how to work with the different tools and start enjoying them and the wood. It is a very pleasant profession, but it requires dedication.

Here I present this first course so that you can learn the first steps to follow. Of course there is material for years if you want, it depends a lot on the time you can spend on it. For this reason, I will be presenting several different works and in different courses so you can learn what you like at your own pace. For example: how to make a box with dovetails, how to make a frame with bridle joint, how to make your carpenter's bench or how to do marquetry. Different courses that I will offer you from now on.

It is one of the most beautiful trades, but also the longest to learn. For this reason, after this introduction to the woodworking profession, I recommend you continue with the other carpentry, joinery and restoration courses that I have so you will fully enter the subject. Go for it!

I hope you enjoy wood as I have been doing for over 35 years. Best wishes.

Jean Baptiste Van den Heede, cabinetmaker.

Course for absolute beginners - Just willingness to work with the BigData or NoSQL category of database
Some SQL and Database background may be added advantage but not at all necessary
A laptop or desktop machine to install the latest version of MongoDB and IDE

Description

Launched just about 10 years ago as on date of launching this course, the MongoDB as NoSQL database has gained such a popularity that no one seeking job in the IT field can ignore it. The developers in MongoDB can claim high salary as there is a big gap between demand of MongoDB developers and their availability.

Optimization of the databases and complexities in accessing various forms of data have always been the challenges, the MongoDB has met them very easily with its simple to handle JSON document type model. The students of this course will just not be introduced to all the features of this incredibly complete database system but also learn all the techniques to make their applications developed with MongoDB to perform efficiently.

The course currently is not complete, but I promise it will keep on receiving addition of lesson every week to make it eventually complete and most comprehensive as my other courses did.

Who this course is for:

Students who want to foray into the career of NoSQL databases
Fresher or UG students of any discipline and branch
Programmers willing to develop cross platform skills

A good understanding of English even though the author tries to explain everything as simple as possible.
Description
Have you ever wondered why understanding electronic circuits are so difficult? Is it because they are really that difficult? Or is it because teachers' explanations are difficult to understand and they use outdated teaching methods? Whatever is the case, Hardware Academy is here to provide high-quality courses that will cover 2 years of educational courses that you could get by attending a BSc in Electrical Engineering. We will start from the fundamentals and as we progress, we will try to understand more and more complicated circuits (which you will find out later that there are not even that complicated !).

Each chapter will have multiple exercises (questions with multiple answers) that you will have to complete (like a test) so that we know if you have paid attention or not and if you succeed, you can proceed further with the courses.

The simulator that we will use is available for free for everyone and based on multiple reviews, the simulator that we are going to use is the best tool if you want to understand how circuits work! (and it's so much fun to use it ! )

We can guarantee that you will understand each course since we tried hard to explain in the most coherent way (also in the simplest way but at the same time reaching more complex topics) using one of the best software to simulate the circuits which will be an eye-opener for you.

Who this course is for:
People who think that electronics is difficult to understand.
Students who want to learn quickly electronics and who don't have time to build all the circuits from scratch.
