    1. Das richtige Forum

Wähle ein passendes Unterforum für dein Angebot

    6. Reupp- /Hosteranfragen

Mark Knopfler - Down The Road Wherever (2018) [2LP, DSD128]

Label: Virgin EMI Records | Release Year: 2018

Mark Knopfler’s ninth solo studio album ‘Down The Road Wherever’ features unhurriedly elegant new songs inspired by a wide range of subjects, including his early days in Deptford with Dire Straits, a stray football fan lost in a strange town, and the compulsion of a musician hitching home through the snow. Mark has a poet’s eye for telling details that infuse his songs with his unique psychogeography – ‘where the Delta meets the Tyne’ as he describes it – and his warm Geordie vocal tone and his deft, richly melodic guitar playing are as breathtaking and thrilling as ever.

Finally the time of waiting is over. 10 years have passed, since the last Rammstein studio album "Liebe Ist Für Alle Da" was released. Now rammstein is back with their brand new album 2019!
Rammstein’s seventh LP comes nearly 10 years after their last studio album, 2009’s Liebe ist für alle da. In December, guitarist Richard Kruspe told us in an exclusive interview that he believed the new album would “come out probably in April of 2019”. Turns out he was just a month off.
In addition to the new album news, the band will unleash the video for the first single, “Deutschland”, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET today. A brief teaser for the video was met with controversy yesterday, when the band was accused of trivializing the Holocaust in the clip by Jewish leaders in Germany. Update: Check out “Deutschland” in full now.
Regarding the new LP, Kruspe told us, “I think it’s going to be an album that has a certain kind of potential that Rammstein hasn’t achieved yet. For me, one of the reasons to step back into making records with Rammstein was to balance the popularity of the band as a live act with the actual music. With Rammstein, people tend to talk about the fire and all the live stuff. I thought, ‘I don’t want to be another KISS,’ where people talk about makeup and stuff like that and no one talks about the music.”
In support of the new album, Rammstein will embark on a European tour beginning in late May. Most shows are sold out, but tickets for select dates can be found here. View the artwork for the band’s new album below, and check out the video for the new song, “Deutschland”.

Van Der Graaf Generator - Still Life (1976) [LP, DSD128]

The band were still going strong on this album, which is in a quite similar vein as "Godbluff". The opening track "Pilgrims" is typical for VDGG of this period. Melodious and excellent progressive rock. Most of the title-track is the band from their most quiet side, but it features a part in the middle with the typical VDGG heavy-ness. And the organ of Hugh Banton sounds very powerful as always. "La Rossa" is a more cheerful and rocking track, but still very progressive and complex. "My Room" shows Hammill from his most lyric side, while the closing number "Childlike Faith in Childhood's End" probably is the most ambitious track on the album.

Tracklist:

A1 Pilgrims
A2 Still Life
A3 La Rossa

Line-up / Musicians:

- Peter Hammill / vocals, guitar, piano
- Hugh Banton / organs, bass & bass pedals, Mellotron, piano

Enya ‎– Enya (1987) [LP, DSD128]

Electronic, Folk, New Age | DSD128 (*.dsf, tracks), 1-bit/5.64 MHz
Run Time: 00:39:27 | 3.27 GB + 5% Recovery
Label: Edelton | Release Year: 1987

Enya is the debut studio album by Irish singer, songwriter, and musician Enya, released in March 1987 by BBC Records in the United Kingdom and by Atlantic Records in the United States. It was renamed as The Celts for the 1992 international re-release of the album by WEA Records in Europe and by Reprise Records in the United States. The album is a selection of music she recorded for the soundtrack to the BBC television series The Celts, aired in 1987. Four years into her largely unnoticed solo career, Enya landed her first major project in 1985 when producer Tony McAuley asked her to contribute a song to the soundtrack. After its director David Richardson liked her demo, Enya accepted his offer to compose the entire score with her longtime recording partners, producer and arranger Nicky Ryan and his wife, lyricist Roma Ryan.
Enya received mostly mixed reviews from critics when it was released in 1987. It was a mild commercial success, peaking at No. 8 in Ireland and No. 69 on the UK Albums Chart. The album continued to sell; it was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of one million copies. Despite its commercial performance, the album helped Enya secure a recording contract with Warner after chairman Rob Dickins became a fan of its music. After the commercial success of Enya's next two albums, the album was reissued as The Celts which outperformed its original sales. It reached a new peak of No. 10 on the UK Albums Chart and sold a further one million copies in the United States. In 2009, The Celts was reissued in Japan with a bonus track.

Nina Hagen - In Ekstase (1985) [LP,DSD128]

Punk, New wave, Psy-trance | DSD128 (*.dsf, tracks), 1-bit/5.64 MHz
Run Time: 00:35:30 | 2.96 GB + 5% Recovery
Label: CBS Records | Release Year: 1985

Nina Hagen in Ekstasy is the third studio album by German singer Nina Hagen. It was released on January 10, 1985, by CBS Records. The German version of the album Nina Hagen in Ekstase was released simultaneously. It was Hagen's last album released on the CBS label, before her recording contract expired in 1986. The album is mainly produced by Adam Kidron and was recorded in Ibiza and Paris. Hagen worked with Karl Rucker and Billy Liesegang and wrote most of the songs on the album. Unlike her previous disco-influenced album Fearless (1983), Nina Hagen in Ekstasy is musically more punk rock with elements of dance music. It contains cover versions of Frank Sinatra's "My Way" and Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky".
After its release, Nina Hagen in Ekstasy received mixed reviews from the critics and although it was released during the rise of Hagen's popularity in the United States, the album was not a big commercial success. She appeared as a guest on many television shows, including Late Night with David Letterman and The Merv Griffin Show, where she promoted the record. In January 1985, she performed at one of the largest music festivals in the world, Rock in Rio, where she performed most of the songs from the album.
The lead single "Universal Radio" became a club hit, peaking at number 39 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs.
